[Advice] How to increase the efficiency of my farming

Hi guys!

Basically I run a small 4 bot farm (all on different servers).

Currently they generate 25k per week each (i generally sell on the same day each week).

What i do is:

Farm with wintergrasp switcher OR safeprofile 24/7.
Post everything on the AH in the morning and again in the evening (12h auctions).
Smelt ALL saronite and vendor.
Prospect titanium and sell raw gems.

All of this and only 25k a week (per account)?




Any advice on improving my turnover?

I have a JC, Enchanter and Alch. Is it worth spending the time crafting instead of farming?

If you want to get the total max out of your farmed stuff you have to do something with it JC, Enchanting, Alch...but if you don't want to spend that time you just sell the stuff..

What do you do regarding the other proffs? I've tried selling flasks etc but the raw mats go for more on this server :/

How do you farm in wintergrasp? Which profile do you use? What do you farm for?
Why only 12h auctions?
Do you mean you sell your saronite to vendors?

Have Mining and Herb as a 'base' and depending on your server, the mats and/or chants for enchanting could be worth alot, the same goes for leather/leatherworking, alchemy (for flasks, transmutations of bars/gems) and so on so forth. you have a good solid base I wouldn't worry about changingin it too much. Might look at setting up a 'side' farm for trying new things. Then as you can establish your own proof of concept, migrate it into your initial farming group. That way your not taking an even bigger risk if you know what i mean.

How do you farm in wintergrasp? Which profile do you use? What do you farm for? It's a GB profile that farms in wintergrasp, then leaves right before it starts and farms the scholazar basin.
Why only 12h auctions? they're cheaper than 24 hour or 48 hour auctions.
Do you mean you sell your saronite to vendors? yes he smelts them into saronite bars and sells them to a vendor.

Enchanting can be good as it supplies you with an extra base of mats to sell, extra gold, minimal effort.

25k per week is like 3500 gold per day.You could get 4500 g max with more time spent(professions(JC,enchanting), staying on the ah etc), but 3500 is very good, I would say that is not bad at all. If you want more $$$ you should get more accounts.

I've been thinking about this and as others have posted, the trouble with getting crafting professions is that you need to spend the time crafting. I want to spend as little time as possible so selling the mats would be the way to go for me, perhaps using a JC or alchemist for prospecting and cutting, and transmuting the saronite into titanium bars.

Just remember Cata is coming and all of todays raiding flasks, food, enchants, gems etc are going worth a lot less soon.
