It's been a long day so I'll make it short and sweet. Sorry if this is the wrong area for this topic, but I'm just looking for a little advice from my fellows here at the forums.
Haven't botted for about 5 weeks now, before all was well. I don't bot around major content patches/new content patches or the like, and every few weeks I take a few off. Casual botting, I suppose? ;-)
Anywho, I recently got my account hacked, less than 12 hours after a GM told me to reset my battle.net PW in regards to expedited Tyrael's Charger + Pass rewards distribution. I think this is just a coincidence, but I'm not sure.
Anyways, it turned out that they noticed I gave 10K gold to someone in game, who in turn bought 2 months of WoW time, thus giving me the touring rocket reward. Main account had been flagged as ineligible for the Annual Pass, so it defaulted to an old secondary account that I haven't had active in about a year or so.
-Anyways, just a short fill in, now on to the main discussion - =-p
I opened a ticket, they refunded all my main character's items, as well as what the hacker took from my main's guild bank.
HOWEVER - my 2 little bankers, an 85 Mine/Herb druid + a lvl 80 Shammy, who were both guild masters of my two mule banks (Which were only stocked about a quarter of the way - miscellaneous stuff mixed in at that, I don't think it would raise much suspicion are no longer a part of my two mule guilds.
I've been thinking about opening a ticket and asking for the contents of both guilds back, even the guild itself with my 5 tabs each.
What do you guys think? Should I just make a new guild and start over with the farming, or risk asking Blizzard to refund things that were obtained via this marvelous bot? I sure hope this all makes sense.
Take care & happy holidays!
