So a friend of mine is giving me his account and im just curious with blizz's change in gaming pattern or w/e where you log in from a different ip they lock the account till you change pw. is this likely since we obviously have different ips could there be an issue?

sometimes i have seen this but most of the times there is no lock

I moved several states away (700+ miles) and all it did was authenticate me when I signed in... but that was the case everytime I signed in because they hadn't started caching the authentication like they do now.

usually it's based on country

i've been all over germany and it was fine; but if a buddy in the states (or visa versa) logs in, i have to go through the process =(

makes it hard to fix issues w/o teamviewer
