Hi.
About 1 hour ago one of my bot accounts got banned and I'm kinda sure of why I got it.

This is the email I got:

Greetings,

We have determined that the World of Warcraft account XXX has been accessed/compromised by someone not authorized to do so by the World of Warcraft Terms of Use.
......
To protect your privacy and security, we have temporarily disabled this account. Any recurring subscriptions have been suspended to prevent further monetary charges. In order to regain access to the account, you must complete the steps below to secure the account and your computer.

The email also told me to do a password restore, and I did. Later on I got the following email:

Please reply to this ticket and provide the following information in the form of a text document file (e.g. a Notepad or Word document), as an attachment to your reply:

- Battle.net Account Name: The account name (email address) you are using to login.
- Your Battle.net Secret Answer (Question: What was your childhood nickname?)
- World of Warcraft Account Name: The WoW account you are requesting assistance with.
- CD Key: original WoW game CD-key (we cannot accept Expansion CD keys).
- Name: the full name that the account was created with.
And I don't have the original WoW Key nor the full name for the original account.

Full Story:
I bought an SoR Account, and I've only been using Raf-gametime on it, no problems there except the few removal of gametime, and so is the case in this "lock", they removed my gametime today when I was monitoring the account, and I was just about to send all of the gathered stuff to my other account, therefor I needed gametime asap and I got it within 2mins of the removal (really bad idea), and 2-hours later the account got locked, hence it's not banned, just locked. But since I don't got the original information I can get it back, but couldn't care less about it either since I got lots of accounts with cata on them and thanks to the new sale-promotion mop is cheap :-)

Anyhow, don't get greedy and add more gametime 2m-2h after they have removed your raf-gametime, like me. :-)

No scam, its the real deal, have received an email like that 2-years ago when I got my account hacked, and I never click on links on emails. And if I log in on my b-net account and click on the account, this is what I see.
And yeah, it says the same thing if I check the ticket on b-net.

Nono your not hacked or something.
I strongly recommend you too stop buying Raf gametime. Blizzard kept locking my SoR accounts (like 7 times or something on the one I use most, 2-4 on the other 2 accs) they said i been accessed by someone not authorized, but when I sent them a ticket asking why, since I scanned the computer and no one knows my pw it should be hacked that easily.
I got this answer:

I have investigated this for you and there are two reasons why your account keeps geting locked (not banned).

The first is you are abusing our Recruit a Friend promotion. What this means is you are sending RaF invites out to people you don't know for the sole purpose of gaining the free game time. The person you invited, then uses a stolen credit card to upgrade the game and pay for the first month of game time to get you the free month.

Of course then when the credit card is reported stolen the "recruited" account gets everything removed and in turn invalidates the game time you were given.

Now, you have done this many times now and automatically had the game time removed. You will have been sent an email explaining to stop abusing the recruit a friend promotion in this way.

I do understand that you might not know that is how that system works, as you might have just seen a nice offer on the internet for very cheap game time. In this case the offer really is too good to be true. Please do not send any more recruit a friend invites unless you are going to get a friend or someone you actually know to play.

The second reason is you have been buying game time codes, that once again have been paid for with stolen credit cards. Once the card is reported stolen, it invalidates the code you were given.

I don't know if once again you were buying them very cheaply from a website or paying for them with in game gold. But you must stop doing so. Firstly if you are paying real money for them, they will very likely use your card details to buy further game cards.

If you had paid by in game gold, please note that we do not support these kind of transactions, for the reasons I outlined above, so we will be unable to reimburse your gold.

In future if you see anyone selling game time cards in game, report them to us instead of particpating.

I have removed the lock from your account. I strongly suggest you buy your game time properly yourself to avoid your account being locked again.

So basically they lock you becasue you use Raf gametime. I have no idea why they dont write this is the "lock report".
You should actually be able to get your SoR acc back back IF you merged it to a bnet account registered in your name. If the decline it and asks for the original owners ID try telling them that you registered the acc in a different name because you only meant to test the game and you cant remember that since that was back in 2006 or something.

Raf gametime is dead, end of discussion.
