Account Just Banned

My account was just permanently banned for "abusing the economy" (exchanging real money for gold or in-game items). What bothers me is that I did no such thing. Yes I botted (leveled two toons from 90-100 and did Ashran/BGs) but I am completely innocent of what I was banned for. I appealed the ban but it was rejected and I was told the ban would not be overturned.

Has anyone had a similar experience or heard of someone who did?

same with a couple of others. PvP/Ashran/BG/Arena dosent look safe to me.

I understand botting isn't safe and BGs are probably higher risk than other activities but my point is the reason for the ban was completely bogus.

They just dont give a shit, just get comfortable and expect more bans if you continue to bot - it's a part of life.

I got the same thing and kept appealing until they gave me the real reason. The real reason is 3rd party software (HB).

Keep in mind that they don't have to provide you with a reason at all.

I don't know what you guys think you're proving by appealing over and over when you know you were violating the ToS to begin with. Do you think you're going to actually catch them off guard and get them to reveal how they detected you botting? I'm willing to bet that not one of the GM's that answers ban appeals know the exact method used to catch a botter. Some GM that was fired would've told the secret by now.
