Account hacked; request gold back?

I bot for personal gold (I don't sell gold).

My account was hacked, and I got my account back. All my items were never DE'd or anything, so no worries about that. However, all my gold is gone (~80kg).

Should I request my gold back...? Or don't bother, since they can track where the gold was from and actually ban my account...?

Yes. I've had the same thing happen (a number of times) and requested the gold back, successfully.
