A little blurb before someone says 18+ hours a day and 100+ stacks of course you will get banned. I expected to get banned, just got back into botting after taking a break from WoW and stop using Pirox, when I came back Pirox was dead dead dead. So I went with HonorBuddy. Loving it so far, took a bit of learning to change from Pirox, both had pros and cons of their own. However I do remember botting on 2 accounts on Pirox 24/7 and not getting the hammer (gatherbotting that is). Would manually put the stacks up on the AH and all that shazz. So when I started WoW again I brought one of my botting accounts back too see how well he would do botting 24/7 and pushing the limits each day.

I can't give you an exact time frame but in about a week I made about 50k from mining with the account. So over the past 2 days I let the mats rot in the mail and and this morning before work I decided to make a bigger push and see how much I would get away with. About 350 stacks of Elementium Ores in the AH (price was decent too 49-52g per stack). I shoved it in and went to work, after a workout break I went home to shower and take a peak, discovered that my account was offline, and shrugged it off as I seem to have more disconnect issues with HB. Tried logging in and BAM closed. Expected. Went to read the e-mail and got this.

***Notice of Account Closure***

Account Name: WOW2

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.

Going to appeal it, as I have not traded any gold I earned on the character to anyone else other than my Gbank. All of my character remains entact and did not trade gold to anyone else ether. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. If it works, then bonus for me and I'll leave the account inactive for a few months and switch to another account for my botting needs.

TL;DR: Started botting again, made 50k in rougly 4-6 days, tried to push my limits and got caught, trying to appeal and get my account back as the reason stated for the closure was inaccurate.

Also I love HonorBuddy!

And the response (rather fast if you ask me)

I copy and pasted the first part of the e-mail then sent me and then added some stuff.

That was the excerpt from the email I received. I find this highly impossible as I have not sent or recived gold or items from anyone other character(s) other than the ones on my account. Everything I have collected and sold were put on the Auction House, undercutting the latest bid using an add-on "Auctionator" which everyone has access too.

As gold was never exchanged at all to another player, I have no idea how this is contributing to the abuse of the economy. Please life my closure.

Definitely should have proofread that before I sent it, had some errors, but you get the picture.
