7)How many hours per day did you bot for?:

I used GB for about 8 hours per day for the past 3 weeks.

8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?

I never bot AFK, but it doesn't matter anyway obviously.

9)How many auctions per day did you have?:

A lot, 400+.

10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods?

No.

11)Was your account involved in gold selling?

Yes, I very recently sold gold.

12)EU or US realm?

US.

13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account?

Paid account.

Before you say 'You were banned because you had this many auctions, because you botted this long, etc'... trust me, I know.

I've been playing WoW since early BC, and this was my account all along. I just lost 19k achievement points, and lots and lots and lots of hard work. Am I upset? Yes, kind of. It's hard to explain... more shocked than anything, because I never thought I'd actually get banned.

I used to bot very carefully, and really only ever used HB in my time of having the bot for the past few years. Recently I started drifting away from WoW and in the meantime I decided I'd run GB for 8 or so hrs a day and sell the gold for money. Well, I sold gold a few times, and I think that's what did it and a few other things like being in the same zone ALL day for the past three or so weeks.

TLDR; I carelessly used GB with the same profile, made 400+ auctions per day, sold gold, on my main account, and lost it all.

Unless there is some magical BS I can pull with Blizzard to get my account 'unclosed', I am not playing WoW again. I just lost everything, and it's too much money and time to get back up and running again.

Well, I said screw it and just sent the truth for my appeal. There's no use in me dancing around the truth and saying 'I was hacked', or 'It was my brother!'. Blizzard isn't retarded, they are aware.

I'll paste more or less what I said, and what the GM says when I get a response.

Okay, I got my account reduced to 72 hrs.... whew.

I was browsing this forum in the first place to see what people were saying in their appeals so I had a chance, and people RARELY posted what they said, so I am actually going to say what I said.

I am not going to paste word for word, because that's dumb. What I will say is I literally told the truth. I said that I used a bot program, and it was very stupid to do because I lost my main account of all these years just like that, no warning, no nothing. I said I had no idea it could result in a complete account termination with no warning, and if I did know that, I wouldn't have used it. I said if it was reversed I would never do this crap again because it's not worth losing everything you actually worked for yourself in the blink of an eye.

It got reduced to 72 hrs in less than a day.

TLDR; If you are worried about getting banned for botting on your main account, be worried. It's going to happen. I knew it was going to happen, but not this fast, and not this 'real'. It's real, and Blizzard will slap you with an account closure. I see that not a lot of people are as lucky as me, and Blizzard tells them to piss off when they appeal because of prior account offenses.
