1)2x gatherbuddy and 1x HB

2)Roughly logged out around 2 hours ago (12:30pm AEST)

3)Gatherit Premium x2 and A mix of COD/AH/Gathering on other.

4)Default - Feral / Default - Blood / Default - level 1 mage

5)Gathering Bots had Druid helper - level 1 had nothing

6)16 x2 and random roughly 4-6 x1

6.5)None x2 (Rarely ever get stuck) and mostly manual x1 (Just mailing and mail to gbank etc. profiles)

7)None x2 and probably around 150 x1

8)None

9)No

10)US x3

Two accounts are not even remotely connected with my third which is at a different location, IP, name etc.
The emails all read along the lines of "Banned due to hack or program"
Wasn't sure if this is a perm ban or a temp one.
 
I got same thing and using gatherit, notice few on here last ones all used it. Wonder if that is most popular used profile and all getting flagged for that route.
 
Seems to be majority of gatherit users, premium and free. Yet an account with no connections to gatherit was also banned at the same time
 
I lost 3 accounts yesterday as well use to use Gatherit but that profile kind of sucks so swaped to difrent profiles
 
The one I lost was using gatherit on herbs. While had another using it for ore. The ore one didnt get banned. But yet he only ran for 1 day while herb was going 3 days (with breaks, not 24/7)

Others doing herb or ore?
Im thinking part might be the whacky way herbs in jade zone, with the whacking in to tree's. Tree humping.
 
yea i notice that alot. I been doing herb and ore with gatherit profiles and i see alot of tree humping and black screen when it tries to get a herb near a waterfall or somewhere where it becomes retarded

x2 for jade forest. Seems like where they got me even with custom profile. Too many stucks
 
jade forest is just too much stucks there with all the trees and waterfalls. i think VOT4W is a better place now
 
16 hours on 2 of the accounts seems like a good reason to get banned. And unsupervised? Probably had someone whisper you in Jade Forest and then got reported. Not saying that Gatherit's profiles aren't over-used, but these seem like stronger reasons. That 1 account though, was it at all involved with these? Mailing items, same guild, anything?
 
I bot 4 hours a day and no issues, you guys are simply botting to long. There are better detection methods then before. You cannot gather nodes like you used to be able to.
I let one account go for 16 hours herbing and mining on a dead server. No one reported me, I know this for a fact. The accounts running 4-6 hours have been going since MoP started.
The one for 16 hours 1 day got banned but was quickly reviewed and they appologized to me.

Stop boting for so damn log and make personal or alter the existing profiles. 30,000 people download a profile you will run into people using it.

In addition any account I had open botting or not was banned when the one that was going for 16 hours was banned.
The ones offline were fine. SO they are somehow detecting multiple accounts online - rather its IP ir mac address or client communication, this happened to me skinning before too.
I had 2 accounts online one I was raiding on and one was skinning for a day. Skinning got banned and my raid account went down too. I again got them back but My main account had no ties to my bot account and still got hit.

Very true. I used Gatherit's Snow Lily profile and got caught on a train of 3 other players. I immediately stopped and just farmed by hand for a bit.
 
This sounds like speculation to me. We don't know there tactics. All we can do is guess. I mean botting for unhuman amounts of time is a redflag. I really think that it falls down to bot police on servers (players camping nodes and reporting) then GMs looking at the account.

Called auto ban buddy - they autoban you and then look into your account when you create a ticket. Get with the times - its the new system they put in. Nothing about speculation.
 
what is causing the autoban then? is it the path you take over and over pretty much?

Herbs/Nodes per hour I assume. As I said I am on a dead server no one reported me. I botted one account for 16 hours and got banned when it was going to run out of time. I have 4 other accounts that bot for 4 hours a day and have been doing so for months. They have had 0 problems.

If you are collecting mass amounts of herb and nodes for hours and hours. It only makes sense right?
 
i use only gatherit's profiles and my bot has been going for the last 48 hours unsupervised while i was on shift work. still going fine :)
