Me personally I came here after reading a post on mmoowned with his thoughts and overview of the bot. DL the trial version let it run for a few.... tried some things out and it did what I wanted it to do. Farm leather for me AFK... while not as efficient as me doing it by hand it did its job and allowed me to do other things or just take the monotany out of TS farming. As for the PvP aspect well i am a firm believer that Bots and huge crowds of real life players don't work well together as that is asking to get your account banned.

I think the big thing people need to remember is ITS a BOT for AFKing grinding. Not meant to look pretty although in time its getting there... navigation was a huge improvement.

LOL... I am not a developer, I don't work for bossland, nor am I getting any compensation from this product. I am just like you another customer who bought this product to do something it said it did. Did I try it out before I spent money on it YES. Did you? I love it when people take things out of context.... here ill give you an example:

My sister recently bought a used jeep because she needed and more dependable vehicle than the PoS metro she was currently using. Drives it for acouple of days then calls for me to come pick her up cuz the breaks keep locking up perodically. We tow it back to the dealer and have them look at it... she gets it back in 2 days they said everything is fixed and fine(hint hint STABLE). No more than 3 hours later her breaks lock up again but was able to drive it back to the dealer again for them to FIX it. This went on and off for about 2 more weeks them fixing it then it breaking again. Finally after I did some research on the make and model they have a bad history and recalls about breaks acting up do to some faulty electronic ABS chip. After going with her to the dealer and asking them if they replaced the module due to factory recall they said no they didn't think to look there. Sure enough this vehicle didn't get the replace board during the recall period that it should because it was sitting in storage from the previous owner.

I see your response as your like her... did you do research and try out the bot before you purchased it? She didn't research the vehicle she bought and kept with the vehicle even though she been having the same problem with it over and over again. It took me a whole 5-10 minutes to find the info on factory recalls for her vehicle and the previous owner history. Me personally I would of got my money back after the 2nd failed fix by the dealer... just to give them the benefit of doubt and took my business elsewhere. The day when HB doesn't do what I bought it for a the developers can't get it fixed in a timely manner you damn right I will take my business elsewhere.

A few of you know my stance on this situation and what I am doing to help people out, those people also know it will come at a price. Premium profiles ftw.

Gee, with all of the comparisons, I can't help but add another one!

A good bot is like a good programming language or IDE. It took a lot of time to write PHP, PERL, C, or C++. Now I can go get free editors to code with or I can pay for premium IDEs like Visual Studio. However, Not the language, nor the IDE will write my program. Get off your butt, learn to use your tool, and right the small smidgeon of code you need to be able to bot. Honorbuddy is closer to using Visual Studio and WoWRobot is more like using Notepad++. They both let you bot, but one takes a lot more effort than the other. However, they both require effort on the purchasers part. So buy me some cheese to have with all this whine!

Well...

I wasn't planning on posting in this topic, seeing it's just another raging thread about how things are at the moment.
But i just wanted to state my point of view!

I'm an "okay" profile creator for both HB and GB.
I shared a bunch of the profiles i made, in hope of helping others. even made a few private ones. Some were free and some were not.

Most of the time i get PM's about "private" profiles requests, i either ignore the pm or tell the sender that it's not worth it to pay money for it and direct him to the right way to make his/her own.
The grinding profiles are REALLY easy to make.
A 1-60 grinding profile would take me around 6 hours to make (or less) using the Awesome kickass profile creator and editor by Apoc.

I've always felt that selling profiles is somewhat a ripoff cause it REALLY is simple =/

The only part i agree on, is that the devs should have made a "solid" profile pack for grinding at least that comes with the bot.
Especially after the targeting logic overhaul. As it affected all the old profile and rendered them useless (at least to me).

It just isn't right that they 100% (well 80% =p) depend on the community to provide the profiles.
They should've either asked or paid someone to work on a full,solid,reliable profiles pack or made them themselves and made them the "default" profiles.

But anyway...
In hope of being constructive and trying to help the community, i'm willing to take the time and release a 1-60 horde grinding profile optimized for HB2.

It was basically a re-make of the Bliik's 1-60 profile with edited/remade grind areas. But i stopped at level 30 due to lack of interest and time (should still take you to 60).

Before i release, i'd like to have a couple of people to test/debug it with me as i simply don't have the time/resources to start a new account or park one of my farmers to test it.

If someone is interested, send a PM my way and i'll reply back with my msn.
I'll only send it to a couple of people to avoid the hassle (preferably someone with "GOOD" knowledge of how the bot works).

Will release it as soon as the testers tell me it works better than the current ones.

Agreed. Think it would motivate the creators, and i certaintly wouldnt hessitate to pay like 10-15-20$ extra for some kind of package with a CC with good pvp abilities and some diffrent tested and working BG and/or Q/griding profiles

Now some of you will probably think that you already deserve these things when you buy the bot. But i wouldnt think so. You have the bot, some standard classes with bg profiles, and some more or less buggy 1-80 user profile options, but also the ability to make your own fairly easy. And thats all there is to it really

Im a new user, and i forgot to tell that im already happy about HB. Pathing is the greatest ever, and the public profiles will take you really far if you just do some research and read the comments. Find out about the bad spots and make your own profile for a few levels or try one of the other options. If you get stuck, then just pvp or try another profile for a few levels and get back to the original or modified 1-60 again.

But i wont, because i know they arent perfect.... If i did, there would be 10 posts telling me im shit and why release shit, 5 people telling me how i should have created them differently and maybe 1 thanking me.

Why do people bitch about not having profiles? If you think its hard to make profiles then you have never tried. Have a little more confidence in yourself. And for all those that claim to be too busy, in the time it takes to bitch about not having profiles, you could have made one.

Honestly, I would so do that.

And just to chime in my 2c, I think the lack of recent plugins is just because the codebase is changing so rapidly that no one wants to write something that is obsolete in a week. I'm sure once things are a bit more stable and more documentation is written, more people will begin to write.
