My account has been banned since Wednesday and I still have not received an e-mail. I'm kind of wondering the same thing, Niantic makes it seem like it's an instantaneous thing once you're banned but apparently not. Either that or maybe, JUST MAYBE, they'll give some of us a get out of jail free card after an allotted amount of time. Wishful thinking.
