About making profiles for instanced dungeons

I'm making profiles for instances, and I'm having some problems. I have set faction for every boss and trash mob, but for some reason my bots only target non elites. Is there some trick to target elites or is it a bug? I have a temporary fix for this, I just make mesh pass every mob in instance. That way my tank body pulls enemies, but thats not very practical solution since it will often pull too many mobs and we have a wipe. Also, is it possible to make your bot run in to instance, level there, and run to another instance? I just bought HB last week and I'm total noob with this one, and HB isn't easiest bot to make your on paths and profiles.

I haven't bothered trying to do ghost paths since I read somewhere that they wont work if corpse is in instance?

You can also post about your experiences, tips what to include in profile, usable addons and so on (in instance).

I'll try to make profiles for every instance for leveling, and share them for people interested in RAF botting. Its nice XP and you don't have to care about player reports.

Currently working on:

Ragefire Chasm - done, not tested

Waling Caverns - mesh done, elite pulling doesn't work but they can manage to clear

ShadowFang Keep - done - not tested
 
First of all, thank you for contributing. But I wont use this. Too high chance of getting banned. And what will you do if you wipe?
 
I just have to resurrect manually. I haven't tested CC's yet, hope there is one that can resurrect (at least my druid usually survives when others die). Will also try making ghost paths, since some other bots I have tested have found their way in.

At best I have gained 4 levels in instance with one wipe. Not good but I'm sure I can make it better if I get some help from more experienced users.

Why would you get banned with this? I don't think they monitor which paths people take in instances.
 
I think he means if you run it with 4 pugs, which is not your intention. If you bring the whole group, its a great idea.
 
Its a perfect idea, matter of a fact I was meshing a instance just to farm crap. Never got around to finishing it tho. You got me wanting to do it now :P. But if theres a problem with targeting elites then this will suck a$$.
 
i have already make some mapping on instances
atm he have got some targeting issues if you try to run a mapped instance
we will have news on this soon

it would be really great to put my level 80 for example farm level 70 instances etc.

The error is that HB avoids elites. The fix is that if you are in a party, it will no longer do so. That ought to make dungeon profiles coupled with specific dungeon plugins possible.
 
Wouldnt it be possible to make it an option in the hb settings to ignore elites or not. Also if it ignore elites, it doesnt mean it avoids them? If thats the case, it may run into an elite on the way to attack something else. I know you can put mobs on the avoid list.. but still.

1. There is a way to reset the instance

2. If there are any profiles done/released

1)No atm there isnt a function like that

2.a)there are some profiles done
2.b)most of them are on test phase,not released

I have 5 accts and would like to test the mesh/profiles if possible. Right now I have enough characters in the 60s and early 70s to run full groups. Can you PM me if possible so that I can get these? As of now, I only have three accounts with 80s (mage/lock/SP DPS, Healer, warr Tank all Tier 9 from badges+ ICC loot) but will be there soon enough to run full groups in instances.
