AB updater crashes now after entering character select screen

I managed to run several instances simultaneously today for quite some time, after which for no apparent reason an instance would give off: "Updater has stopped working", crashing AB and crashing all other AA instances with it.

Now it's totally unusable. I can't even log in a character (single instance) because it crashes in character select screen. Anyone else having this problem?

Updater doesn't seem to stop working anymore for no apparent reason. It's all good now out of the blue.
