[A] Twilight Highlands - Volatile Water Farming

Hello and Welcome!

A small introduction

I am Erlendstoltz, and I have been on the Buddyforums for about 2.5 years, using profiles,routines, etc. And I feel like its about time to try and give something back to the community.
I have been working on a Farming profile, and finally I am ready to deliver a product for you guys.

Constructive feedback/Testing/Info on the profile is wanted by all means!


This Profile

Is designed to kill the Muddied Water Elementals up in Twilight Highlands for Volatile Water which goes for 7g+ a piece on most servers.


Possible Earnings?

Pure gold w/o Potion of Treasure Finding = 12 g/hr
Pure gold w/ Potion of Treasure Finding = 20 g/hr
Vendoring Greens = 90 g/hr
Vendoring Trash/Greys = 170 g/hr
Violate Water w/o Potion of Treasure Finding = 88/hr
Violate Water w Potion of Treasure Finding = 116/hr
Tiny Treasure Chests 18/hr

(Violate Water also drops from the Tiny Treasure Chests you get from using the potion)

Clearly, the big profit comes from Volatile Water, as the gold drops in the area is small.
Also Auctioning Pyrite Ore and Elementium Ore will raise the profit remarkably, as it goes for 100-300g a x10 stack depending on servers.
About 70 Embersilk Cloth will also be looted /hr
Volatile Air,Fire,Life,Earth will be dropped a few of, which sells for about the same price on AH.

Potion of Treasure Finding is highly recommended as you will get alot of Tiny Treasure Chest.

In total you will be able to earn 1350g/hr+ depending on Volatile Water AH Prices!

I am still working on getting the bot to automatically open the Tiny Treasure Chests and using the Potion of Treasure Finding automatically, if someone has script, or any tips please shout out!
At the moment the profile is about 90% AFK, NOT 100%.

How do I start using this profile?
#1 Download the profile at the bottom.
#2 Buy some Potion of Treasure Finding, about 100g+/-
#3 Move your character to Twilight Highlands(picture attached)
#4 Set GrindBot on Honorbuddy and load the profile
#5 In settings, tick off Kill Between Hotspots
#6 Press Start

I was literally making this profile in the same spot as i found this thread. I will work on the potion script and get back to you. Also. Im sure this can be done with the tidy bags plugin. Will report back soon
 
Its stops every time is has run 1 round :)
And it do wired things not smooth ?

Try this. Will open the chests and use the potion.

ID's shouldn't need to be messed with.

First ID = ID of the potion

Second(Aura) is the spell ID. Found here: Screenshot_1.png

Third ID = Same as first.

Tells you not to open chests unless you have it in your inventory. ID is the ID of the chests.

Will send a message in the HB window saying it's opening a chest.
Will do it multiple times before stopping. (In-case you have many)
Then terminate the DoWhen if it notices you have no chests.



Hope that helps. I learned from copying it from a Firelands farming profile. Tbh, you probably could of downloaded that, copy-pasta'd, and been good to go.

Edit: just noticed this was back in 2015.. Post necroing :c I never looked. Good thing I wasted my time typing this :D

The problem is that the character comes to the merchant sells and sends the mail. then stops and no returns a zone farm
 
This did not work when I loaded it up, so I changed it into a more modern format grind profile.

It will still grind the elemental for water, but it doesnt automatically open chests or use the potion. To open the chests you can use a plugin called TidyBags and there are several plugins that will automatically keep the potion of luck up on you.

Anyways, hopes this helps some people.

I'm using this one and it works much better than the older one OP supplied. However, my toon seems to kill a few water elementals and then he continues to fly around, not killing anything. Once in a while, he lands and kills a few mobs. I tried to change some distances etc in the profile but it didn't work. Anything you know could fix this?

EDIT: I removed the blackspots and it works now, if I get stuck etc I'll add a few so if anyone had the similar problem, remove those and then add your own if you get stuck :)

Plz help me bot fly arounds kills couple mobs and stops!!! Plz help my own gold source income please fix this
