I was wondering if you can make a profile to do nothing. I want to park my toon in an area and go to work and hopefully get the achievement when/if Deathwing does a fly-by. Is this possible with HB or GB?

Yes, I know they are down atm.
 
just need some kind of anti-afk addon.. i'm sure there is something like that around..
 
yeah

load a blank profile and hit grind.

there are blank profiles like in the IB folder
 
Ok, is there a way to do this with GB instead since I HB isn't updated yet?
 
just record a path in.... lets say the barrens (either side) and then turn it on! you will just run in circles following the path!
 
Personally i got that achievement on wensday already but how ever awesome it was to watch what happend i wonder if it would really be worth the risk. The chance of him spawning where you are are very very slim and if you keep running in circles like that you are bound to have a higher risk to being reported. Instead i'd say use a farming profile for mining or herbalism in that area so it at least looks like you are doing something there if you really want to do it. Just my two cents. Eighter way have fun watching if you happen to succeed.

Btw. i got the achievement in eastern plaguelands.
 
Yeah, is it only me who can't get to gb.authbuddy.com to upload a script? I can do it thru GB fine but I want to delete it and reupload etc.
 
yea i meant create a profile where u run around the whole area like you are farming (this way you can do it regardless of if u have gathering professions on that toon or not). Then you will never go afk and as long as your path is fine you should never get stuck so you can full afk it and then you will be in the devastating wake of Deathwings destruction! enjoy your new FoS when you return!
 
He doesn't blitz the entire zone, only a certain path unfortunately and I know one spot from wowhead but not the whole path. I wish HB was working, it would be so simple to just have an empty profile with a pulse.
 
It's not hard to figure out where you might find him. Only areas that where originally in vanilla wow and not around starting areas like stormwind or ogrimmar etc. I have one big clue for you guys tough. If it is going to happen look at your surroundings. Before i actually saw him (and he's really huge so hard to miss) the intired world turned red. Now not actually pure red but like there was a red filter placed over the camera. Toon looks ok but the land and sky all turned red. That's the only clue there is that it could happen where you are as far as i've seen when it happend aside from everything (players and npc's) dying.

Just remember. It seems to be extremely rare to happen and really a pure game of luck so don't put your hope to much on it. I got it but never found him again with my other toons. But who knows.
 
If you load a blank HB profile and then use the random jump plugin it will keep you from going offline. Best bet is to find a mountain or somewhere else and just wait.
 
Mr Autofight might work for that.

all you'd have to do is park yourself on a mob and the respawn would keep u active.
