A review of Stormbuddy

As I manifested my disappointing the last few days on this forum regarding the bot, here is the true review of the bot. I really hope Buddy team will understand my point and truly make an outstanding product. But until then,…

... I have used Flumio’s bot since its launch (truly as free, never bought that). I have also used several incredible awesome private bots (though they were limited edition and for testing purposes only – they were made as thesis for university degree and couldn’t really use them commercial – maybe someday.)
Flumio’s bot was truly the only public one at that point in time, but a very weak OCR bot.

I threw my money to the monitor today not necessary because I truly wanted a paid version of Flumio’s bot (which it is actually), but because I own HS, HB, DB, and SB now and I truly believe in BuddyTeam to actually make a bot on their own. A god (with only 1x `o`) bot!

Currently you should not attempt to bot anything else than vs AI, and if you do bot vs AI… you should really not be rank 30+ as all your friends will roll eyes and ask you what’s wrong with you

My scale is simple (1 to 10):

HS-10
DB-10
HB-8 (10 pre-WOD)
SB- 2 (OCR, not able to do something else on the machine apart from VM-ing)

I have hope in you guys And as I said in the beginning, I really hope Buddy team will understand my point and truly make an outstanding product.

When I the bot had purchased I thought he was like all other products by boss lands (background compatible).
Unfortunately, he runs a bot only in the foreground (because ORC). It is so to make an impossible other things while running bot.

Also the bot is very striking. It mounts not on as soon as he is out of combat.
On the minesmap, enters the bot not the mines.
In team battles he helps don't other heroes but focuses more on minions.

Lucky that I paid the bot only for a month. I hope that is still working on some things.

Honestly i dont think they will do much, if they wanted to change something they would already do it before releasing it, its same old flumios bot literaly nothing changed.

If that's true, I am very dissapointed. I thought Bossland had some sort of quality assurance.

In the current state which was too expensive for me for €16,99.

By ORC is the bot maybe quite safely. However, more functions should be incorporated. Also, the BOT should get a better logic. Also, he should act much more human. These things are available, the price is justified.

Set it up on your laptop when you go to bed, do this for 2 weeks and you got 75% of heroes to level 10 and you're level 40. Wasnt that what you wanted from the get go?

Do you really want a bot that omfg pwns everything? What's the purpose in that? It's a bot for crying out loud, just let it work when you're sleeping.

Also the benefit from not using memory inject and shit is that this bot is truly 100% undetectable by conventional methods.

Exp gain by my short measurement is around 200k exp / hour. The bot will lose pretty much 100% of the games it plays so thats like 50k exp per game, the games take 15 minutes since it loses fast.
To reach level 40 you need roughly 33400000 exp. Since there is a 24h exp cap of 2 million you can only run the bot for 10 hours a day. You'd reach level 40 after 17 days.

This bot is only intended to be run VS AI and with AI allies. Anything else and you're just ruining the game for actual players and it just increases risk to your account with very limited reward. Don't be a douche.

If you're content with what you paid for, I'm happy for you. But this is now a Buddybot, and this is a very low standard.

Just cause something functions, does not make it a good product, why would we not want a product that pwns everything? sadly the exact opposite is true.

Also funny thing is bot could only win A.I games if other people carried you, now that there will be more bots if you get a single bot in a game thats not you, you will lose the game 100% so not even A.I will work for long

Price: 16 euro
Number of products sold: maybe 1000? I don't think it will sell nearly as well as honorbuddy. And getting level 40 by manual play is fairly easy.
So thats 16000 euro earned for 1 week of work. remove 50% taxes: net €8000 profit
And ofc you need to factor in a lot more like payment gateway cut, forum, platform for distribution etc etc...
It's a good paycheck, but it's not in any way unreasonable.

You can't justify how crappy the bot is currently, with your convoluted logic. Development time 1 week? you're just pulling numbers out of your ass at this point.

How about we compare the quality of other buddybots to this one, now that would not be unreasonable.

Agreed. However you could either say that this bot is expensive or the other bots are extremely cheap.
Dsnt this bot do exactly what you want it to do though? Farm exp when you're afk? I think it does, but ill reserve my judgement on how afk it is able to be when I can run it over night.

But just to clarify, I completely agree with you. This bot does not hold the same quality as other buddy products. And the price should probably reflect this, imo drop it to €5.99.

Considering there is XP cap on AI this bot is pretty useless right now.
