So, I've botted a few times on my main account then I get paranoid and think i'm going to get banned, so I stop. And well I was just wondering, if I made a new account, whole different email and stuff, and botted on that pretty much every day, just not 24/7 would blizzard be able to IP ban me and get my main account banned? or does it not work like that? I wouldn't be botting on the same server, or the same account or character names or anything, no friends, no talking just the bot going at it for a few hours a day.Could this be linked and possibly get my main account banned? I mean. Would there be a way for me to trade the gold over to one of my characters on my main account, from my botting account without any risks of my MAIN account being banned or anything?

There is no way of knowing if they could (ip ban) it is a risk you have to take, chances are if one account is banned you should cease most of your botting and play it smart,

I find a good way to trade items between 2 accounts is to start a guild solely for guild bank, then have one toon from each account in there, then deposit stuff into that guild bank, then regardless if one account gets banned you can still access all your stuff.

You should try and see what happens, you might or may not get banned. There is no truth in here, merely speculations on personal experience.

As far as I know you can bot in an alternate reality and have your great grand son get banned for no reason.
