Hello everybody,

With this profile you can farm Westfall Invasions with your Alliance character, both for flying and non-flying toons. The profile does

  1. Go to Westfall.
  2. Kill Mobs (prefered high XP mobs) until the End of Phase 2.
  3. Go to Stormwind to reset the invasion.
  4. Repeat

Tested it with a holy priest and it worked fine, so I think other classes should have no problem.
To use the profile, download the .xml file from the attachments and use the "Load File" function from Load Profile and select the file you just downloaded.

Credits:

Code:
    <!-- Original Template by Nodku -->
    <!-- Modified for Westfall by John Dread -->
    <!-- Hotspots by Fluffybutt -->
Special thanks to Studio60 and Aion for help, just started making profiles today morning. :)

Happy grinding.

Sincerely,

Going to try this now brother,

Thanks.

Edit : Works well, gets the job done for sure! just flew to Westfall, completed and flying back currently.
Mine didn't attack any of the commanders but i guess that depends on the hotspots and if i "pass by" them, or are they ignored due to the damage and deaths etc?

Thanks for this!

You may want to at least rename the file name as the H implies it's for Horde characters.

Seems to definitely not prioritize the big XP guys. It sits there attacking all the normal mobs until they are dead, and then it switches to the bosses. Any way to actually make them the priority? It also seems to fail to fly out using the flightpath for some reason.

Well, the code has:

Code:
<PursueUnit PursueWhen="ShouldPursue(UNIT) && UNIT.IsBoss && !UNIT.TaggedByMe && UNIT.TaggedByOther" Priority="1000" />

So it should prioritize the Bosses which give more XP.

It should do lots of things I'm sure. But it definitely doesn't. I also landed in SW from Sentinel Hill, it actually took the FP back this time. Upon landing in SW, it opens the window to take the flight path, closes it, and then starts walking to Sentinel Hill again. Just tested again on the boss priority, it really doesnt care at all. I'm level 36 at the moment and it just attacks normals until they die.

Attitude bro, He just started doing profiles this morning like it says and this is getting the job done... sometimes i get a lot of exp, sometimes only 20k sometimes 80-100k (97 paladin) but it's 100% afk.

John, I tried to change the other priorities lower to see if they worked but nope.
I think perhaps it could be a hotspot thing? it's not getting them in range to "see" them ?

Now the return after Stage 2 went like this.
FP From Sentinel Hill to Goldshire.
Walk from Goldshire to SW.
After entering SW and crossing the bridge, it pulled a 180 and walked back out of SW.
Walked back to Goldshire.
Took FP from Goldshire to Sentinel Hill.

How is this even logical?

Mine has been doing some weird stuff also, not quite to this extent.

I quite like that it was flying (using own mount) to just outside westfall, then started using the flightmaster too...wastes bit of time but yeah.

Hopefully we can get these things ironed out and have this going efficiently.

And just now it was so busy killing normal enemies I missed out on all 3 Doomguards and the Fel Commander.

Its faster to log out and reset it that way. Is there any way to have it log out instead of fly out?

Can't do log out route, as upon log out HB stops everything.

What i've done now, since i imagine we are both watching ours currently... make a "/1. Invite please" macro and hit it when in westfall, accept and just let it do its thing each time, its a pain but until can sort out the boss issue it works great

both westfall and dun morogh have inn close, log out inside inn is instant

the problem with log out you need hb relogger.

edit: btw i think dun morogh invasion is alot more efficient, all mobs spawns very close to each other in stage 1 e 2

Yeah but in that scenario, I might as well just do the whole thing manually. Ask for an invite, tag stuff up. Get to Stage 3. Log out. Log back in. Repeat.

You could try to increase this value at line 26 to something higher like 1000.

<CustomBehavior File="UserSettings" LootMobs="False" PullDistance="55" LogoutForInactivity="False" />
