A noob needs help!!!

Hey guys so im fairly new to botting. All i normally use it for is to farm honor but i wanted to level up my shaman using [Alliance][GrindBuddy] Neferset Guards - Sells Greens
thats all the profile really said. The only GrindBuddy i have is [BETA]GrindBuddy. Hopefully thats the right one. So i start it up, load the profile and set it to [BETA]GrindBuddy on the bot list. After starting it sais
"Starting the bot!
Currently Using BotBase : [BETA] GrindBuddy"
And on the bottom of the window it says
"HonorBuddy Setup Complete"
Im not really sure where to go from here. Its just sitting still doing nothing. Other times it also just sais "Loading Profile" and does nothing. Im not sure what to do as i havent been able to find a beginners guide to using GrindBuddy and the profiles for it etc..
Any help is much appreciated!!
 
i used another profile the blind rage 86-90 one about 6 times on my old level 85's haha and im still all good :)
 
Keep it up. Killing the same set of mobs for a long ass time. Nope, that doesnt scream bot...
 
I find people like you funny. You could either help someone that clearly states they're a "noob" by telling them what they're doing wrong and correcting them or telling them a different or safe way to do it. Or you can act how you are by just wasting my time telling me stuff that is clearly obvious. And as i said before. I want to find a way to get the profile to work. So answering saying "Keep it up. Killing the same set of mobs for a long ass time. Nope, that doesnt scream bot..." in a reply to a question about how it works makes no sense at all.
 
ohh okay its just that the friend that told me about honorbuddy said that questing through the bot is very risky and just grinding isnt so risky. How do i even set it up to quest? Im practically a total noob to this haha.
 
Grinding is more risky than questing. Gotta use logic for that. Leveling with BGs isnt so bad depending on the class.

yeah i put my hunter onto honor farming and left him for about 6 hours...come back and realise he's just been running up to stuff trying to auto attack.. hahaha
 
And im sure he has been reported. Ill let my pally bot and my DK, but ill be sitting watching.

i used to bot 24 hours a day for about a week to gear up my pally,warlock,hunter,rogue,monk,priest and i havent been reported/banned etc
 
Setting up questing is relatively easy. Brodie, Cava, and Kick make profiles for 1-90, both Alliance and Horde. I personally use Kick's for my leveling, as do many here, but I've been told Cava's and Brodie's are good as well. Just download the profiles using SVN (posts and descriptions of setting that up are here on forums), then start HB. Autoequip and Talented 2 come with HB by default. Set bot base to Questing in drop down menu, open Plugins and check Autoequip and Talented 2. Choose the talent setup in Talented 2, and set your weapon style and weapon types you want equiped. Close the plugin window, click Load Profile and select the profile you want to run. Kick's are programmed in such a way that they will load the next profile when you finish the current one, it will even switch continents when switching expansions. all that is left is pressing the start button. :D

You were lucky, Those days are sadly gone. i botted my self to bloodthursty on my lock.
