A night of questing

I have one question for you guys.
Just out of curiosity: have any one of you ever managed to bot an entire night (8 hours+) with questing without waking up with a wow error/disconnect/the char just standing there doing nothing?

If so, is there something im doing wrong? Even after a fresh install and no weird plug-ins or CCs i still cant bot quests for more then 30 mins without having to "help" the bot.

Its getting pretty annoying because its bot like i cant set the bot to grind mobs all night (Instant ban)

Ps: This is with Kick's Qusting profiles which i was told was supposed to be 100% AFKable

My own experience: No. Those times I've tried to leave it AFK over night it turned out that it got stuck/error/fail after 1-2hours.
Nowdays I never leave it AFK (in 1-60 profiles) and check it like every 30min-1hr. Usually it has some kind of problem in each zone that needs to be fixed manually.

Yea Kick's is the best one out there that is semi-AFKable. at 60 I just AFK mixed mode before I hit the bed with Arch and BGbot, lvled 3 chars this way so far. Then when I wake up, right back to kick's profiling and check up on it every now and then.

I am pretty sure i've managed an overnight quest session once I was out of vanilla but normally it seems like it'll need a nudge here or there every hour at least.

My experience is:
1-60: no, never
60-70: sometimes, ironicly it tends to work afk when i dont intend to afk it but fall asleep before stopping it for the night .
Zones i never afk are: hellfire and zanga, also blades edge can be buggy.
70-80: same as above, and it seems very random where it fails, zones i never afk(atleast not on purpose) are borean, zuldrak and stormpeaks. Rest of them could probably be afk'd alot more than i do, there are however alot of quests you still need to do manually in the last few zones.
80-85: i think i've left the deepholme and uldum profiles going while asleep, uldum profile has a few manual quests thou.

Basicly i think your best bet is to get a plugin and have it log you off after 3~4 hours if u wanna bot while asleep.

The profiles i use are pretty much always kicks if he has one aviable for what i need, i used to make my own but things kept changing too often for me to keep up with updates and to be honest his profile making skills just surpass my own by lightyears. Sadly theres noone around doing horde profiles so my rogue is stuck on 70

I think kick has made them as afkable as anything will ever get, theres so much that can go wrong while questing. I honestly have no idea how that guy can push out so many updates on so many different profiles, he's probably somekind of demigod with extra arms or the ability to slow down time .

If you wanna get some xp while sleeping i'd go with Archeology buddy, that one ive done overnighters with quite a few times, works very well in eastern kingdoms, slightly worse in kalimdor. Atleast it used to, havent tested it since before the summer hollidays

Arch 100% afkable for me as horde on Kalimdor.
I have seen a few people post about using BGs but i personally have never been able to 100% afk any BG due to various issues.
As stated Cata zones just have a few too many quests that need to be done manually. Other than the manual quests i have not had any issues using Kickazz Questing profiles though.

I recently botted from 1-50 using the new 1-85 Horde work in progress quest profile. The bot ran pretty much continually for about 8 hours a day with me semi-afk. I had to manually intervene 3-4 times (one of which I know has been fixed).

It's not 100% yet but I've seen improvements in both the bot itself and the quest profiles that are available.

I've afk BG'd WSG and AV. WSG is doable but I just don't like doing it cause the map is so small and there's so fewer players. Much easier to get noticed. I've been doing AV non stop for the past 3-4 days (10 hours or so a day) without a hiccup.
