A measure against botters who report other botter

Is there anyway a builtin feature could be wrote that detects the content of the opened ticket and blocks the botter from using hb/gb if they reported a fellow botter?
Or any way of detecting a botter reporting another botter? That'd be great

Nice Idea but it won't work. If a fellow botter wants to report a other botter, he just turns the bot off and is done with it. If the bot keeps running a background process to check upon a ticket it will be easy detectable and ZEH BANHAMMER WILL STRIKE!
At least, that's what I think they can do.

This is not a good idea at all. People are allowed their privacy, and can report other players if they wish. There is nothing against HB's rules about reporting another botter.

There will always someone who thinks he has more of a right to bot somewhere than the other botters. People suck. Deal with it and move on as that's all that you can do.

This thread is full of fail. Give it up people, if someones in "your" spot, make your own damn profile that goes somewhere else. One of the biggest rules of botting is not using public profiles anyways. Get over, it, stop QQ'ing and just enjoy the damned bot. Good day!

Maybe make it detect if the other player is making catty remarks about you to his friends and make him spam "/2 I AM A BOT" 150 times if he does so.

Be smart when you bot and this wont happen. I personally report all AuctionHouse bots that I see since I think it is stupid to ruin the one market there is. Meaning it is not like you can just go to another area and farm, like farmbots, there is one ah and that is everyones playground.
A certain degree of AHbots wont get reported, the ones that only buys stuff and doesnt repost and auto undercuts arent reported, but fully automatic ones are reported and named and shamed

no, just no. i know for a fact, there's no way the developers would ever do that, there's no gain spent in coding something that does that, if anything it makes it look worse for people using the bot.
