[A - Grind] Feralas - Sprite Darter Egg

G'Day,

i just want to share my 2nd selfmade profile for Honorbuddy. This time, it's a grinding profile (Grindbot only) to farm the Sprite Darter Egg from Gordok Ogres in Feralas (outside of Dire Maul).

I haven't found a profile for alliance (or i was just too lazy to search for it), so i decided to make my own and improve my profile creation skills :p

There's nothing more to explain, i guess :)

Additional note: This profile could also be used as Horde. You just have to remove or replace the mailbox and the vendor settings.

Did anyone test it, yet? I got two of this pet, using that profile :p
 
How long did it take you? I might test it but im so lazy to take a character there, lol
 
Very nice profile never stucked my pet dropped after 6h.Plus got many silk cloth stacks and green items..Ty very much...

fucking on like 5000 drops and still no egg lol like 24 hours already

EDIT: Got it on like the 6990 Drop lol but hey got it that's all that matters thanks for the profile

I can confirm that. But it's not a problem. I'll try to fix that by adding an additional hotspot/point.
 
Good profile, but its starting to get annoying how many I have killed. I have one issue I was hoping someone could assist me with. My pally kills them so fast at range that he turns around and runs back the other way before they are lootable. Thus I look astoundingly botlike running back and forth after each kill before I loot. Any advice?

Combatlooter, Lootmaster are not helping with this issue whatsoever.

Started using it, its helping quite a bit. Still no drop........... I'm starting to get discouraged. May move on to other things. Do I need to do the quests in the zone first or something? On the Plus side I got the robot chicken starter item.
 
Still no drop. Starting to wonder wtf RNG really is. I don't normally have such "bad luck"

Roughly 7,000 kills before my dropped. Epic bad luck?

This profile was a great find. Especially since so many farm the whelps and with the introduction of Cross-Realm the whelp area seems to always be plagued with farmers and low level questers. Funniest thing I saw was 3 toons from different servers using the same HB "TEW + SDE - Feralas pets farm- hyhy" profile...they were just running along side each other, same path. Its a great profile but its commonly used.
Also I highly suggest getting Parrott's AlertMe plugin for any grinding, this area will get some lowbie questers every now and then but its large enough to where u wont run into them too often. AlertMe will stop for x seconds if it detects a player nearby, i.e. they cant report u for botting if they dont see u botting :)

Lots of SILK cloth! :) Thanks~~~~~~~ Like every mob has dropped 1-3 silk lol
 
Dude,

This was by far the hardest pet for me to collect until now... took me 6611 attempts but i finally got it! :p

I spent a few days running this profile (few hours per day) ... so I made a few changes to allow horde sell and mailing... it worked all the times (got full bags a few times).

Also I got tons of silk cloth converted to gold at the AH of course! :cool:

So guys, don't give up... !

To use for characters over level 91 >> Open the xml file (with notepad++ or similar) and change <MaxLevel>91</MaxLevel> to <MaxLevel>111</MaxLevel> and it should work fine!
