Midsummer Festival Honoring/ Extinguishing Bonfires
​

Running these profiles:
Bot Base: Questing
Flying: Yes
Faction: Alliance
Start Point: STV East of Booty Bay (EK), Uldum (Kalmidor), Hellfire (Outland), Borean Tundra (Northrend)
End Point: Eversong Woods, Bloodmyst Isle


NOTE: MUST BE STARTED IN THE START ZONE

These profiles pass through all of the necessary zones and optional ones for the achievement plus to ensure you get as many Burning Blossom as possible. I did this all by hand with my main toon. Mostly just to teach myself and to get into a rhythm for doing the rest.

EDIT: Fixed flying out into ocean at westfall
EDIT: Fixed a problem with flying back to Burning Steppes to get Badlands Horde Bonfire.

Presently Testing and it is working well now that I changed some of the Horde object Ids...stupid bonfires

EDIT: Dunemaul Hold extinguish isnt working....will fix

Presently I only have Eastern Kingdoms finished since I was doing multiple things at once and it took me more or less 3 hours to do. I will be updating this post as I finish the rest. I will most likely do Outland next because I hate Outland and my hearth is set to Shattrath still because I have the Dalaran ring to port me there to Northrend.

pretty sure its eastern kingdoms for now hehehe
 
Ran into a couple issues...

1. If you restart the bot at any point for whatever reason, it starts all the way back in STV.
2. For some reason... not sure why (log attached), the bot began to fly out to The Great Sea - to the west of Westfall... I stopped it there.

See log.

same here, I died many times cause fatigue
 
Yea i noticed that but I thought it was a fluke, i'll screw around with it and try to fix it. As for the starting back in STV until someone can tell me the code to make it track what you've done then I can't change that. (i've asked about it already just no response, this is my first real questing profile)

I just fixed it, must have screwed up something when I was putting in coords and messed up a number...updating first post

Just tested it again after i saw your post and its working for me, make sure you delete the one you re-downloaded plus make sure you reload the profile, I know Ive made that mistake before.

EDIT: I think I know what it is, its after you go through westfall duskwood and blasted lands I thought it was just when you entered westfall so i was looking in the wrong spot! I'm going to try to figure it out yet again. Sorry for all the problems

EDIT2: Fixed it and another problem i found and nothing since.

Just ran Kalimdor and it was great! Two points:

- Didn't enter the portal to Exodar, I had to click it manually.
- Once I zoned into Darnassus it used land mount. No big deal, just thought I'd mention it.

Will try Northrend now!

Edit: Northrend was flawless, started in Dalaran.

Now to try Outland.

Edit 2: Outland wasn't as smooth but still worked. Spent a lot of time running along paths instead of flying and got into a bit of trouble at Stonebreaker Hold (I think that's the name).

I did EK manually so can't test.

M8 u need to remove so chars dont use bg mounts like nether ray mount. i need to check if he stuck under the tent evry 10-15 min beacuse he allways use the same ble nether mount.
 
Just in case anyone was looking for a continuous midsummer route:

This Alliance profile (adapted from kick) does all the extinguishing and honoring except for blood elf and dranei starting zones.

Make sure to uncheck 'kill between hotspots' in settings as this causes problems in outland

Starts in Elwynn forest and ends in Winterspring and goes through outland and northrend too.

Makes a great profile if you want to get massive guild xp while afk but don't care about achieves

Enjoy :)

Also, if your character disconnects midway through, you can run the profile again, but your toon will start in Elwynn and go through the whole route.

normally I would be disapproving of this kind of post since you are sort of ninja'ing my thread with your profile...but I don't care this time...my suggestion is to make your own thread so it doesnt come off that way, just in case.
