A few upgrades - Help meh! (Kick)

Hey guys - I've asked some of my buddies and other devs for advice on a few upgrades that I want ... now i'm going to ask you guys.

I found a video card for $290 - Asus 6950

and then 4x active displayport adapters for 6x monitors (As I use 6) - upgraded from 2x 5770's

Why not Nvidia? I don't like their driver support

Now ... here's what i'm wanting. I want a good sturdy gaming keyboard so that i can raid and still do my HB / Ryfto / WoT / SW / D3 stuff (with backlighting / keylighting) that doesn't fall apart after a week or 2
I am also wanting a raiding mouse

Here's what i'm thinking:

I don't really want to pay $200 for a fancy G11 / G15 / G19 w/ an LCD.

A few of the devs like the Microsoft keyboard / mice ... but I'd also like other gamers (ones who still raid a lot) opinions as well (and links)

Budget:
$300'ish for video card

keyboard / mouse:
$100'ish each. I have a few cheap mice and they work fine... but I need more buttons for raiding =(

I don't like wireless stuff - or even that 1/2 wireless 1/2 wired stuff. No need to pay for something I will not be using

Does anyone know of any Black Friday / Cyber Monday (online) deals that would reflect stuff that I want?

The Razer Naga is the best thing to ever happen to my wow career. You'll never look back.
 
Razer black widow or anansi + razer naga epic/non epic for your keyboard/mouse. Naga is the best thing since i got wow :D
 
This is what I use for my keyboard and it's just under $100 with 18 programmable keys, it does have an led display though. but for the price it's voted as one of the best out there, and I agree with them, it's exceedingly well built, I have had mine just over a year and it still looks as new as day 1.

Along with this mouse, if you have a larger hand (like I do) it's not the easiest thing to get used to but it gives you a total of 30 overall programmable buttons for anything you want, I usually use mine for quick tools in Bryce and Photoshop, but in almost any mmo I notice my hands don't hurt as much after a 8 hour session, it's quite comfortable once you get used to it.

I had looked at the keyboard - but I have a bad habit of reading the lowest reviews on products before the highest rated ... and the lowest reviews usually tell a lot more than 'oh this is awesome'

From your perspective... how is the lighting on the keys? Are any keys hard to press? how are the audio jacks? Sadly this one doesn't have 1-4 extra usb jacks on the back :(

The lighting on the keys in anything other than red/grean is quite low, that's why when I replaced my mouse I got the red one so it will match, the audio jacks work fine, I use them when i want to just wear my ear buds I don't know about the mic jack my actual headset is a Logitech g35 which is usb, but my tower sits right next to one of my monitors so I don't need a close hub.

All in all it's easy to use the keyboard, I have never had any keys stick with regular cleaning (can of air with a 6 month disassemble) they are easy to press, almost like a soft touch board or a laptop keyboard, there's little to no learning curve from a normal keyboard, and the nice part is the all the different things you can show on the LED, everything from a simple clock to your core temps and Facebook updates ^.^

Overall though for ease of use (once you get it all set up) I would give it a 9/10 as long as you take care of it.
 
I know at least on my G15 the USB ports are non-powered ports so they really are only good for USB thumbdrives and the like.

I'm in no way fan of ATI, altough I like a setup of 6 screens(what do you use it for).

Keyboard:
I wouldn't take this keyboard, since it will tear the key illuminated off, after a lot of playing CS:S and WoW / LoL they keys aren't clear and the black tears off.

Mouse:
I don't like there mouses since there light and also for people that like that way of holding it, its to narrow for me since I got big firm man hands.


My suggestions:

for the keyboard I'd say:

Razer Naga's plastic wheel cases on both sides of wheel come off rather fast. Good mouse though if you have lady fingers. I miss press buttons all the time. Not good for big hands

i already have a steelseries zboard w/ 3 outlays - but I want a backlit one :(
 
Razer Naga all the way my friend!! Best mouse on the planet! cant game without it u will NEVER regret it!
