A few fatal errors, possibly related.

I just bought HB today, so these may be things that are caused by me being a noob. If so, resist your urges to flame me.

First of all, I can't figure out how to "attach" HB to WoW. If I start WoW and then start HB, every box is greyed out and it tells me to restart and select a valid instance of WoW. If I start HB alone, it tells me the same thing but it allows me to login and all the buttons are enabled. Even if I start WoW after HB, it doesn't detect it.

Secondly, when I login it gives me one of those errors insisting that I close it and either "Send Error Report" or "Don't Send", but there's also a check box for "Attempt to continue" or something to that effect. I'd rather not select that box for fear of it not working properly and causing my account to get banned.

I'm running on Windows 7 x64. I installed it and have done nothing else besides that.

start up wow and log into your character ( so its playable)
start up HB
log into hb

make sure u have .net 3.5 and .net 4.0 installed

note if your login name to http://hb.buddyauth.com is Mahtale (example) you have to make sure the M is capitalized

Thanks for the log! I can tell you right now your first problem is you need to start the WoWclient first, log in your selected toon, THEN launch Honorbuddy. This Wiki page and this one should help you through any other issues getting started with Honorbuddy. The Wiki is not yet complete, but it is actively being worked on.

If you are unable to solve your problems using the Wiki, or using the forum search function, the please post again.

umm. the new patch came out today, u gotta wait for the new hb for the new patch...
