A couple of questions before i buy

How hardcore is it to setup for a new person?

Ive used glider, and pirox in the past 3-4 years, so im used to botting in general. Is this is to setup etc.

Does it have background botting? (ie i can alt tab out and surf while it continues)

One thing that appeals to me is the questing. But, if im playing manually and do "x" quest. Can it still keep going from there, and continue on its own ?
 
the bot is easy to set up..

yes you can background bot but make sure wow is on Directx 9 and in windowed mode, all you gotta do is pretty much buy the bot, and download it, enter your key (what will come in an email).... then login... when it opens up you can pull down the menu... like questing and such.. please note you will need to download profiles for questing, but stuff like instance buddy and stuff is built in, but there will be instancebuddy2 (renamed dungeonbuddy) sometime as that current one doesn't work to well in some cases... unless you're a healer,

also I would suggest you use Kicks-leveling profiles, just download it or get SVN so you can keep it updated.

Can you answer this question :

If i manually do a quest or two, can it still find out and continue from there ?
 
uhhhhhhhh depends really, if you're lets say level 58 and you wanted to level from there you would start up 58-70 profile and go on from there to hellfire.. but lets say your in zang at level 63 ish but you done like 40 quests or so it might just go from there if not you can fix it by just editing the checkpoints in the file but I have always levelled a char 1-85 so.


in the shorttime yes it can depending on the quests you do lets say you levelled from 1-35 on your own you would maybe need too edit something in the profile but if you lets say level 58... just start up the 58-70 profile and it should do it on its own.


If you start this *midway* (18+), change <QuestOrder IgnoreCheckPoints="True" > -- True to False (hint: open the profile in notepad & 'find' ) in the EK 12-58 profile
If the Checkpoints are too high for your liking, you can also look for Checkpoin Level= in the profile and change them to a lower level
If you have BoA gear and / or guild XP, you may be doing green or lower quests / mobs and also want to use this option

Last question :

How does the bot know what to "pick" as reward when questing? And does it autoequip the quest reward (if its better than what you got) ?
 
There is a plugin shipped with HB with exactly that name: Autoequip

And yes it will do all what you just mentioned, it can even roll on loot in instances.
 
I guess i just dont understand if/how it knows to start doing (quests) from where my character is. Its a level 11 (so far) Warlock, so ive done quests uptil that. It can figure that out by itself?

I do know that you DL certain profiles, but what if some of those quests in that profile has been completed
 
The bot compiles quest parameters from your zone.
The bot will recognize which quests are done and continue subsequent to your last completion.
The bot will switch zones for you and continue to quest (assuming your profile supports this).
For example. If your level 11 warlock is questing in Durotar and you are using a 1-25 profile, the bot will compile all quests relevant to your profile.
The bot will start where you left off. The bot will quest in Durotar and move to Northern Barrens and finish out the last few levels in another zone.
From what I have saw, the bot picks the item relevant to your class, if there is not one it will choose the one that sells for the most.
If you wish to sell trash/greens, mail cloth to an alt and level gathering while you quest, there are plugins and profiles that support that.

Hope this answers any questions that weren't completely shed light upon.
 
I just started using this bot as well with similar bot experience to you, glider, pirox and all. PM with your skype name and I will help you out with setting up.
 
you need to enable auto equip to roll on items in instances.
and yes this bot is very intuitive to use as intuitive as glider. (still sad to see it gone)
but this bot already got me like so many 85s and can max proffessions and like over 2.5 million gold since ive used it. (got the 1 year account at first than bought a elite with a friend)
this bot pretty much does it all it even disenchant shit for you when you got loads of cargos day after day.
 
ahhh lol wel that explains it :P. im so used to pvp bot form pirox and still pissed i paid for a full yr of it and a month later it gets shut down -.- and it was more expensive then honor buddy and honor buddy is way better wish i chose this bot insted of priox's
