Take on the Queen, beat up Sarkoth, and nick all the gold from those Wishing Wells​

If you can't be bothered to read the following, then jump to the REQUIRED FILES AND DOWNLOAD AREA, and grab the All-In-One version of the profile. That's all you need to do :)

Hi all, this is my first contribution to the DemonBuddy community, and although this is a profile subject that has already been covered sufficiently, I don't believe any of the existing public ones include the 4 spawn points for the Wishing Wells (my name for them).

This is purely a GPH profile, and with my maxed out +GF chars, I am getting about 270k per hour.

There are 2 versions of this download, an all in one XML file (ACT I - Rumford at the Gate - QueenSarkothWells All In One File.zip) which you can just grab, and extract to your Profiles folder, then load it up and you're off. The other download is probably more for those who might be interested to see how to load a profile from within a profile...

The multi-part version of the profile consists of 6 files, 4 of which represent an instance of a Well (1st Well.xml, 2nd Well.xml, 3rd Well.xml, 4th Well.xml), one that represent the Sarkoth (BashSarkoth.xml) cellar instance, and the main profile itself (QueenSarkothWellsStartsHere.xml).

This splitting up of the profile into more manageable parts was able to be done thanks to Radonic's RadsProfileManager, which amongst other things, adds the tag Continue, allowing for profiles to be loaded from within a profile e.g.

This means that in order to use this profile, you will need to grab the latest version of RadsProfileManager plugin.

The profile itself is made up of 6 XML files, all of which should be kept within the same folder (they have been zipped up within a folder):
  1. QueenSarkothWellsStartsHere.xml <-> Load This File To Start The Run :)
  2. BashSarkoth.xml
  3. 1st Well.xml
  4. 2nd Well.xml
  5. 3rd Well.xml
  6. 4th Well.xml


All you need to do is extract the ZIP file into the PROFILES folder of DemonBuddy. The ZIP file contains 4 folders, each representing a different difficulty level; Normal, Nightmare, Hell, Inferno.

REQUIRED FILES AND DOWNLOAD AREA

RadsProfileManager plugin <--- ESSENTIAL FOR THE MULTI-PART PROFILE! adds the Continue tag :)

When I try to run it my hero just runs south and then stops. Am I missing something?
 
Did you start it from the menus ?

Also, did you get RadsProfileManager plugin ?

When it starts, your char should appear in New Tristram and head east and out to Rumford. It should not go South.

Are you loading the profile QueenSarkothWellsStartsHere.xml ?

I wasn't, actually. Now it's working. Thanks a lot, I'll see how it does and post the results later.

Edit: works great, ChuckyEgg, great job. One question, though. Is there any way you can modify this so that the hero loots the corpses in the wells too?

Cool :)

Oops, I did not state within the first post that QueenSarkothWellsStartsHere.xml should be loaded to begin the run.

The non looting of the corpses is a DB issue. For some reason it just ignores them. :(

but can you make one xml?
i want to use this profile without RadsProfileManager plugin
 
All-in-one profile completed, now performing some test runs :)

Once all has proven to be okay, I'll add this to the download area.

Grab the 2nd download, which is the All-In-One version of the profile.
 
There is a error for the all in one file Failed to load profile: Element Continue is not supported. Please check your XML and try again. (<Continue profile="4th Well.xml" />) Line 319
 
The one full profile still have a few <Continue/> tags in it.
Is that intended? I can not test it atm.

oops, no they are not meant to be in there. I'll check the file now.

EDIT: FIXED

I removed the sections of code with the Continue tag, and uploaded it to here. The All-In-One is now good to go.

I had the RadsProfileManager plugin, that's why it did not come up as an error for me when I tested it the profile. I should have done a search for the tag anyway, do'h.

Hi i c the profile is abt3-4min can u make alonger profile by making them go to all the dark cellar along the way?

I will at some point, but not just yet. It results in a lot of repetition of code if made into one file.

I did have one that included all the cellars, but only added something like 20 seconds, maybe 1 minute at best, and resulted in a reduction in GPH.

Including the cellars is good as a levelling profile (an elite shows up quite a lot). I'll look at putting one together at some point, and will probably create a new thread for it.

I'm trying to sort out my PartyLeader/Dude plugin at the moment, which allows you to have your bots running a profile together. I'm trying to make it more presentable for the community.A bit of a hack job at the moment. Once that's done I'll look at creating a Queen profile with cellars.

Also, I want to figure out how to get the bot to continue from where it left off in the run when the char died (as it does after stashing/selling/salvaging), instead of trying to go back to the start or leaving the game.

Anyway, chill time now, I'm watching the Paralympics :)
 
Ok tks for the reply . Jus worry that if the profile is to short might cause game limit input , and get ban by it . Jus wan to be safe.

I have used a version of this profile for a few weeks now, and have never hit the game limit with it. It creates about 12 games per hour :)

I will use my formidable copy/paste skills if/when my kids get to sleep tonite and fix a profile like this.
