A Better Singular?

So I recently have been using Studio60's paid profiles to farm Cataclysm heroic raids for gold on my second account with monks that are 655il - The only problem is it really only works with Singular... And well, Singular just sucks. The only thing I've found was some sim craft remade Singular which I tested it out on DPS and was much better. (Have to wait until tomorrow to see if it plays nice with the farming raid profiles.) Does any one have any modified Singular or know if it's going to be updated anytime soon? If my memory serves me correctly, Singular has just kinda always sucked with rotations. I know there's paid ones out there now but it should at least be able to do its rotation well enough to kill a boss that's been out for 3 (almost 4) expansions, heck Tuanha's rotation utterly destroys them with the DPS it pulls - why is Singular literally over 50% less in DPS than that? Even if it is free /end rant.

I think singular could use a update rotation wise but honestly its a lightweight basic CC that is there to get the job done for almost anything, I think making it more complex will also reduce its compatibility, besides Cata content? you should be fine with singular.

All the com devs do recommend Singular, just because it is the default Combat Routine, so customers are not required to purchase different store product to use our ones.

That does not mean, that it would not work with other routines as well.

You can try any favorite for you Combat Routine and send feedback to the product developers, most of them would like to know successful stories about certain CR working well with their product.

It half works - for instance on heroic Beth in Firelands (the spider boss) Singular will click on the rope and go up and DPS the boss as Tuanha's will not. The issue is Singular doesn't pump out enough damage for certain bosses, while tuanha does. But as stated things like not clicking on the rope on Beth happens - so I just stand there and die. Or use Singular, go up fail to do enough DPS come back down and be perma-stunned for an hour. I've let the dev know of the issue and maybe he can fix it to work with my cr.

It just got me thinking of how bad Singular is when you have other profiles pulling out almost 50% more DPS. Basic or not that's too low in my opinion.

If I knew anything about coding maybe I could setup Singular to do more DPS - but I've no idea what I'm doing so I'm stuck here looking for alternatives.

+1 to this. What is ruining the great Cataclysm raid experience is the singular CR requirement...dps is just bad,a lot of spells are not even casted (Breath of Sindragosa for example). Someone tried other payed routines with those raids ? Accessary or Tuanha ? Any issue ?

sorry I cant agree with you there..

singular for what its for is great... AFK PVE botting... it sucks in raids because its so much more then just a rotation...(hence why its good in afk PVE botting)

studio60s profiles WILL NOT work with anything but singular.. Devs should be able to code to CR that everyone has.. Devs should not have to provide support for any other CR's..

Can you please post your specs and settings then please ? I hope not only dk, so op that even singular can outdps all the raids even with autoattack

I have to semi-disagree with you, Singular needs work. It doesn't even use all of your abilities or talents. I'm not looking for it to have 500 options and this or that just to be able to do a correct, up to date rotation. If they can manage that there wouldn't be a need for other crs for afk pve - but unfortunately theres a lack of support with Singular so someone has to make up for it.
Thankfully Studio60 just now replied to a message of mine in his support thread that he is working on his own crs for his raiding profiles, which makes me really happy. I wish he didn't have to waste time doing it but Singular is just too out of date and I fear it will only get worse or stay the same as it's been for such a long time.
