So, i have a story to tell and i will keep it short and want to hear some suggestions from you.
Ive been botting with 12 HB Bots 2 years long, all the bots mail their stuff to one central selling account, which runs a custom bot made by me, which sells the stuff on the AH.
A Month ago i lost 9 Farm Accounts and my Sell Account instantly without warning. I was stupid enough to use one IP for all Accounts ( i become lazy in security, because everything went so fine that long time ). of course u can blame me for that.
1.500.000 Gold and 9 full S10 85 toons went down the toilet.
Funny thing is that 3 Bot Accounts where disconnected when the ban hammer came and they are still active ! So i think it was definetely an ip based ban.
I took a break a few weeks, i didnt really rely on that extra money i earned via gold selling, so no problem.
I then started fresh, overhauld my custom software, now no more Mail Sending for farmed stuff by the bots, only Face to Face trading and using different IP for the selling Account. I also complete changed my hardware, so the Hardware-IDs changed.. i only used the same CPU which also has an unique ID, but i red that CPUs often share the same ID number, and you cant clearly uniquely identify them.
Well maybe unique enough to ban my sell account yesterday again ! This time i didnt sell any gold yet and didnt make much gold ( < 150k ), but its enough for blizz to kick me out again.
My 6 new farming Accounts still live, so at least the IP change helped out AND its definitely not HB fault, but i think still interesting to you.
Conclusion:
-It could be possible that Blizz detected my custom Software
-It could be possible that Blizz runs new AH checks, like pseudostyle: if acc.activeAuctions > foo then acc.suspicous = true
-It could be possible that iam still flagged somehow
iam not exactly sure what to do next, my farming accs are still active so i thing i will start a new sell account and doublecheck if iam flagged or so..
