9/30 Permabanned - MACID ban

Hi,

Got 9 of my accounts banned, I'm 99% sure thats a MAC ID ban

I run 4 computers for botting, all on the same IP, I got recently my accounts banned on this specific PC, all the accounts on other computers were fine. I tried to make another 9 accounts on this computer, using specific low-ban rated, low populated areas, personnal profiles (usually this kind of accounts can last easily 30+10 days without ban) and supervised them. They got all permabanned the day after they passed 85 for "Abuse of the economy", those accounts were not linked each other with RAF and have made 0 golds/items transferts.
I use to buy my accounts with the same paypal but I dont think the bans come from this since the others accounts are untouched, even if those last days buying a battlechest with paypal is kinda random.

I came to the conclusion that was a MAC ID ban, I used to reset my mac adress with T-Mac changer after each ban waves but I've heard that doesnt change anything.
Does anyone knows how to fully reset the MAC adress, like if I change the motherboard will it reset ?

Thanks :)

GB2? Dungeonbuddy?

Please answer questionary..

most of them use grinding, farming specific items in very low populated areas, approx 6-12 hours / day with pauses, I didnt fill the form because im almost certain that doesnt come from my botting method since my other computers are farming with more risky profiles (MOP gathering and grinding / AH Bot ), have whispers and reports every day and are still ok.

i'm just trying to find a way to "clean" this PC.

Use Free VPN Service | Free VPN Software - Hotspot Shield VPN theres a free one and a pay one AND this one works Top i have used it a ton works on any adapter Win7 MAC Address Changer v2.0 <------ will reset the mac back to what it was when you first got the board.. or put a new one

give it a try and see how it goes

I have changed my ip with Zokali (the last site i listed) and it does change it ( used to use this when *****ing peoples wifi and they ban my mac and ip got me back in every time) try it out

To be honest I still believe they dont check the IP before banning accounts (because of the publics IP / dorms ect ...) I'm running all my computers on the same IP since 3 years now, I've got hitted by only 2 bans waves and those 2 were manuals investigations. If the IP was a factor I think all of my shit would have been banned for a long time :D
I'll try your MAC adress changer thanks

Thunderball, Im afraid the MAC is not related at all.

Lemme guess: You run all of these 9x accounts on single wow installation, and as you already stated - on single machine.

Since more than a year, Blizz do link accounts, ran on single computer/wow install and flag these, running bot-farming behaviors - and ban them when certain critherias met.

And they are linked by the unique ID these wow installations have, with the aid of the private space, dedicated to Blizzard software in the Windows Registry.

thanks for the answer so you tell a fresh install of wow and windows will solve this issue ?
I have to admit I havent made a full fresh windows install for a while on this computer, but my wow install is the same for all my machines (its a classic wow install I've put on a flash USB key and copy/paste files when I need to install it on a new / formated computer)

The practical experience proves the rule, that lower number of farming bots, ran simultaneously on the machine bring higher longevity on the accounts.

If you try to farm with 1-3 accounts per windows, you will last much longer than with 5x or more.
Of course, that do not cover the player reports, but as we see, 95% off the bans are auto-bans, caught from the server-side mechanics.

First off appeal to get them back

Chances are u will get all bjt one back

They roll over hids and ips

To change ip u should know how to do if running a farm

Hid rotate ur ram and it will change ur hid

Is it confirmed that each WoW installation is unique? Just curious.

They identified the accounts as most likely associated (probably you mail the mats between the various accounts? Not sure - not enough details). Most likely a player reported you when you were farming. They investigated and banned all the accounts that they associated as being together. That's why I don't bot to farm mats; 99% of the bans I've seen are from farming (long time botter - used to use Glider back in the day).

If u haven't installed WoW on the computer but only run it like Portable usage, your game isn't write on the winreg.

(But, if u have the Beta Launcher and a Portable version of WoW, your game is write on the winreg. So, don't install the Beta Launcher and don't install WoW, just launch him with an old installation.)

I completely forgot about WinReg. :D There's a way to scrub it - but it's not recommended unless you really know what you're doing - you can easily bork your computer.
