Got this yesterday, just wait it out or challenge?

Account Name: *********
Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized
***** Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were
identified using an unauthorized ***** program, also known as a "hack.". These
programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of
Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed,
teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized
programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over
other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing the account
instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member, or
leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for the penalty
because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups
responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues
very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity
and the risks involved, please review this article: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/antigold.html

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of
Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at
Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of
Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and
including permanent closure.

I'd wait it out. If you weren't there or knew what happened then there's a good chance they have proof of something looking very bottish from a player report or some red flag that you don't know about.

If you don't they could review it again and assure you it was botting and close it on the spot.

Obivously not from HB

HB was running I was watching my rogue in VH when i got booted. Tried to relog, but got message. I dont run anything else. No selling just grind and gather.

Man call them up. Why do you people continously tell others to not contact them? By not contacting them it INDEED does make yourself look GUILTY. Call them up and see what is going on.

I got one too, sent an email and pretty much said "WTF is this shit, reverse it now, I did nothing wrong", they upheld the suspension but I still think you should always dispute it because its an admission of guilt if you dont.

Everyone has a theory on bans and they are all equally valid because Blizz doesnt tell us how they detect bots so your guess is as good as mine as to what a 72 hour means. 1 thing is for sure, if they detected HB, we would be perma banned.

I'll never understand the people saying to "wait it out". You're basically admitting guilt. Any normal person would call them and ask "WTF did you suspend me for?" if they weren't botting.

i got this leveling up my rogue for 12 hours each day for 3 days , last was in winterspring and i was just started the bot and went to other pc to play so,e hc took only 15 mins get suspension
ofcouse i sent a nasty email for them just waiting for replay

Greetings, Thank you for contacting us concerning the recent action taken against the World of Warcraft account **********. While we understand your concerns regarding the status of this account, we take matters involving the integrity of the game environment very seriously. Please take a few moments to look over the World of Warcraft Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment: World of Warcraft Terms of Use), which all players agree to upon initially logging into the game. The Terms of Use state that you will not "...modify or cause to be modified any files that are a part of the Game Client or the Service in any way not expressly authorized by Blizzard" or "...use *****s, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software designed to modify the World of Warcraft experience..."Additionally, the Battle.net Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment: Battle.net Terms of Use) state that "You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Login Information, and you will be responsible for all uses of the Login Information, including purchases, whether or not authorized by you."Due to a second thorough review of the circumstances involved in this account action, we have made the decision to modify the previously communicated penalty. This additional review took into consideration a variety of factors including the history and standing of this account. Please understand that should another incident arise in the future, it is possible that a different outcome will be reached. Please review our in-game penalties policy (Blizzard Support) which states that "we must also factor in the severity of the infraction and how often the player has violated our policies in the past. Based on these factors, the penalty may be moved up the Penalty Volcano, up to and including Account Closure."If the previously issued action resulted in the closure of this account, the account has been reopened and access restored. Should any action be required in order to regain access to this account, an additional email will be sent from an @blizzard.com or @battle.net email address with further instructions. If no additional correspondence is received, you should be able to access this account using the password that was valid before the account closure.Thank you for your continued correspondence in regards to your account and for respecting our position.Regards, Blizzard Entertainmentwww.blizzard.com/support...

Got this a few hours later

Ok maybe I should rephrase. For those of us who tend to buy multiple accounts and don't just bot on main accounts for in game gain... Not responding is the best option BECAUSEEEE if they see you opened an account recently and have no prior history (hopefully you weren't so smart as to link your accounts via battle net or name/payment options) they have no reason to believe you are a real player considering if you are using gb2 on multiple accounts you are typically repeating the same process again and again and don't want them to bring their "thorough investigation" into looking closer at your playing habits which they can now do.

So in conclusion yes, if you are botting on your main account that you better not care about too much, you should dispute it.
If however you are on a farmer account or an account you use solely to gain cash money I think it would be foolish to dispute it only for them to look at how obvious your playing habits are (mad farming all hours of the day)
