5)What plugins are you using?: Generic stuff like bartender, carbonite, postal, healbot etc.

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?:I havent botted in 3 weeks, but i got it set up today, and was botting for 1.5 hrs. Prior to my minor hiatus i botted for around 8-10hrs a night.

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? In the past 2%, but today i was just tabbed out, and was basically 100% supervising.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 0- Anything that is sold is sold on a different account that isn't linked in any way to my own, but nothing had been posted on the AH in over a month. I never sell raw materials, only crafted ones from what I farm.

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No

10)EU or US realm? US

On a side note, I had HB going about 1.5 hours, and about 4 minutes before my account was banned. He was farming in Hyjal, and while mid flight a loading screen popped up, and he got ported inside of a hut like thing. i stopped HB when i saw the load screen, ran him out of the hut, and restarted HB. I found it strange, but ignored it as maybe a game bug. I think it was actually maybe a GM testing the behavior of the character, but i don't know.

GMs don't do that but I am curious. Where was the hut that requires a loading screen?

GM's do that, they do teleport you sometimes (hence the loading screen).
There is a "hut" in Twilight Highlands, got 2 of my chars teleported there and got a 72h ban. After the suspension was over, the characters we're still in the "hut". And the e-mail I received was written by wowgmeu not the "abuse of the economy" usual stuff.

i believe him, very similiar situation happened to me one week ago, one of my bots got teleported in uldum to this place(it's something like dam, there is questgiver inside) : . I saw the whole thing, second after teleport i've got whisper from gm, responded 'wtf ur doing', i flew out, then got teleported again to the same place. Again responded 'wtf hapening' + got message that this gm is not available. I flew out again and started to bot again so it would not look suspicious that i've changed my play style. Of course i have watched over it. Few mins later i saw that my char was teleported like 20yards away from the node when i was bot was trying to mine it. Wrote 'WTF is going on here' and used hs and changed zone. Account was not banned until yesterday when they mass banned my 8 accounts...

Definitely true: Teleporting is a usual method of GMs: we had this issue discussed and verified weeks ago on pirox board.

Pirox himself implemented a teleport detection and autochatting feature like iron_bird stated after these teleport report we gathered. It?s really nothing new and well known till now. If char is teleported char says random messages like, wtf?, or huh???, in your client language for sure, not english only which would be very suspicious. He even startet a Warning threat about that. It wonders me that its a news for you here...

They teleport you mostly to "caved" where bots mostly will stuck if they try to escape. if they stuck at wall --> 100%ban.
then they port you to any node near, if you gather it directly -> ban.

Yep, nothing more to add. Rarekiller plugin has feature that it uses hs+message+logout when bot changed continent. Unfortunately GMs teleport chars to the same area, cave or huts or anywhere which could confirm using bot. Someone should do such plugin as pirox had this feature.

Blizzard DO personally follow people who are reported by other players (and they look into these very efficiently) or people who take similar co-ordinates for hours on end, as these accounts are flagged. They can also port you to somewhere like the above said (they can do pretty much anything to your char whilst your on it! but obviously wont ), I know this deffinatly happens, in fact it happens most of the time when you get banned from farming materials to A) prevent you from continuing and b). My RL mate was a GM for EU servers untill Christmas based over in Cork, Ireland. Fortunatly for me the US GM team is far bigger, and a lot more pro-active especially against material farming.

I'm informed the safest way is to use multiple characters to farm, same account or not, doesnt matter. For example I have an account with every class to 85 which I use for my bot, I NEVER farm for more than 4 hours at a time, and random the character I use.

People who are banned are usually from two ways (people watching you, personally reporting or flagged up due to suspicious selling/time played/unexpected resources gained in a specified time), and it looks like you were personally reported if your telling the truth about times used. However, nothing is gueranteed, all you can do is take steps to prevent getting banned or suspended with the array of quality plugins and profiles there are on this site.

Agree, having a lot of chars on one account and changing them every few hours IMO helps BIG TIME. But lvling all this chars and then getting gear for them is very time taking...

I'm not entirely sure where exactly in hyjal the area was that he was ported to, (in all honesty it could have been in twilight highlands, i have a bad memory for details) but i will look for it when i get my account back.
