Just came back from a night out to have this e-mail sitting in my mailbox...

Account Name: *********

Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized
Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were
identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These
programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of
Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed,
teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized
programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over
other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be
held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game
environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups
responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues
very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity
and the risks involved, please review this article: Gold Buying and Power-Leveling - Support - Battle.net Support

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of
Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at
Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of
Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and
including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please go to the following website
https://us.battle.net/account/support/account-recovery.html. Our support staff
will assist you as soon as possible. If you are unable to access your account
due to the password being changed, please visit our Login Support site here:

Ok guys, there haave been ALOT of bans in the past 24 hrs i suspect a ban wave.

Yep usually I only see 1 or 2 posts of bans in the ban section a day, recently I seen 10+ a day. I recently had 3 accounts closed aswell.. (Yesterday)

hax.webp

I've been getting these errors a lot while botting and didn't think anything of it. I wonder if it could have something to do with the "hacks" that i got banned for.

Does anyone know what this means?

i doubt a ban wave.. what it seems to me is lack of upgrading of the bot. since these new games have come out ( rift, Star wars) i catch my characters constantly running into walls, etc. and not even trying to move side to side like it use to. the stupid report an error on the bot doesn't work. everybody and their mommy is botting now.

i went into 3 BG's today and all the people were talking about was "look that guy is a bot" or that guy is afking" never seen it this bad. getting worse and worse.
its like their a bunch of honey badgers, they don't give a fack. they take what they want.

running 4 accounts atm and just 2 got the 72 hr.. the other two are still going strong. though 2 accounts had same credentials. and the other 2 had their own credentials.

That message usually happens after you get disconnected, the bot continues and "errors" with hax.lua.
