Additional notes - I got spam whispered from a guy being annoyed that i took hes mines and that i was botting. I told him that i was not and continued. After a while he whispered back, now i got both your druids on video and im ready sending mail to blizz.

I thought he was just joking and i said "ok".

Then he told me to give him 5k gold and he will forget all about it... i told him that i was not botting and im not that rich.

Day after he said "Hello" to me, 5mins later im banned on both my accounts for 72 hours. "Exploitation" - Third party software


Any tips? Should i use those aout-answer thingys next time? And how long should i wait til next time ?​

"im not that rich" this is almost a wrong answer. a person who didnt bot, will never consider such an offer. you had to write a ticket, that this user is annoying you.

a possibility is, that this guy also was botting with the same profile just a few meter behind you

you botted 16 hours? the person whispered you, gone to bed in the morning you are still farming.<- think about this, why he shouldn report you


it also could be a gm. i have a gm in my guild he sometimes playes private, so what he reports goes quickly

Also make sure when you continue botting that the option "don't ninja nodes" is activated.

Yea well, can he report me again even though i dont actually bot? like if i come online and he sees me on friends list.. will i get another ban then ? even if i dont bot ?

Thinking of leveling a new toon just cause of this...dont feel like getting banned for reals

1. using public profiles is no good.
2. ninja nodes is never good.
3. bot for more then 8 hrs is always bad juju

lesson learned is? I will not ninja nodes and will will try to bot in intervals

Well, that didnt answer my quiestion. Lets say hes supermad at me... can he insta report me when i log in (without botting) and blizz will ban me again?

nah dont think so, btw any chance you were botting on outland eu? As i got pmuch same whisper like week ago on my toon that he got fraps video of me botting and he is going to send it to blizzard unless i pay him 5k, in which i ofc just replied that "what are you on about, gonna report you for harrasment".

blizz doesn't look at videos, screenshots, or any other source someone might have / claim to have. It's all fake-able, and once tipped off they look into it themselves.
they'll see you ran the same exact rout for a long period of time and go "hmmmm that's sketchy"

if someone says they're reporting you botting, turn off bot, do whatever the bot was doing by hand for 10-30 mins, then log, just to be safe.
