Hi guys

Sorry for posting here as this is a blizzard matter, but its the weekend and I cant solve it as they are closed..

This afternoon I got a email from blizzard saying

Battle.net Account - Password Reset

We have reset the password for the Battle.net account associated with this email address. To choose a new password, please click the following link and follow the instructions:

If you did not request the reset, it is possible that this Battle.net account has been accessed by someone not authorized to do so. If you notice issues with the Battle.net account or associated games after logging in with your new password, please contact the appropriate support department for assistance immediately: bla bla

Then got another email saying:

Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

This is a ban for hacking and not botting. Has anyone had this kind of thing before for using a bot ? I do not use a hacking program and cant think of where they have got this idea from.

And do you think i should dispute this ? or would that couse them to look into my acount and what I have been up to.

Iam just AHHHHHHHHH at the moment

I wouldnt dispute it, but some people do and get it removed.. others get it perm banned.

Wouldn't recommend disputing it.
It's only a 72h suspension, if you tried disputing it depending on the mood of the employee handling your case, they might dig in further and change it into a perma...
It's up to you to decide what to do :)

Account Name: WOW1

Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing the account instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member, or leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/faq/antigoldselling.html

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at http://www.wow-europe.com/en/legal/termsofuse.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

For any disputes of this action or further information on Exploitive Activity, please visit the Exploitative Activity FAQ and contact page here:

I would never dispute a 72 hour ban, its useless as there is a chance to get it perma'd. But if you dont, theres a 99% chance you'll get it back in 72 hours :)

same here

17:46 -> email pw reset
17:51 -> email 72 hour suspension

!!!!!!!!!! i didn't bot since Monday !!!!!!!!!!

so this can't be any new warden check or something !

i'm on EU-Servers, on wednesday i downloaded the patch, installed it and wow was unplayable (cause patching day...) og lags about 10 seconds... so i decided NOT TO play or bot a few days....

very strange this email now...

Its because they build up bans and release them all at once, like "mini-banwaves". Its not a coincidence.

and NOONE knows the email i used for this account... so this can't be a hacking thing... must come from blizz !!
i created the email on my own domain.. i gave this address to no one except blizzard...
