72 hour ban and scared of botting, help! :)

i need some input on this: Debating if i should keep on botting, i had my account 72 hour suspended a week ago and i don't know if i should start botting again, it's my main account with fully geared high rated lvl 90's, and all i want is just some gather botting and some bg botting, will it be safe? is blizzard watching me? and how much can i do to not get banned? also what is the next ban after 72 hour ban for botting? is next ban perma? thanks a lot! so scared about this - Thanks!
 
Simply, if you care about your main account you shouldn't take the risk again, you'll just get banned sooner or later.
 
Gathering and BG botting are high risk activities for a bot, so you need to weigh whether you are willing to accept getting your main account banned vs. your want to gather/BG bot. There are definitely ways to lessen the risk. When gathering, I wouldn't gather for long periods of time in one zone. I would consider switching zones for short bursts of gathering. I'm not a BG botter, so I couldn't tell you how to help look less bottish there. From everything I read, the bot follows pre-mapped routes, so if someone knows the route you're taking, then you're easily identified as a bot by the haters out there.

I bot with my main account only, but it's only been to gather, quest/daily, and lazyraider in dungeons and raids. When gathering, I don't go for very long. There are others who bot almost 24/7 and still never get banned, so it really is luck of the draw most of the time. It'll always hang over your head. There will always be a chance you could get banned the next day.
 
thanks, now i have yet another problem. I just bought my key (haven't been booting with HB before) - and put it in the login field and nothing in the password, but it doesn't work :/ Authentication Failed! why?
 
just wait five mins and try again that?s what i do when i get auth fail
 
Just keep trying. You don't have to wait five minutes. It'll work after a few tries (usually 5-9 for me).
If you get the message Max Sessions, log into Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal and kill your current sessions.
 
Yes you can keep boting, Id say if your gathering every morning put him in a zone once bags are filled make hearth and log out..DONT GET GREEDY

As far as BG well its defenitly less risk then gathering although with the bot working less acurate and more boters these days might be risky as well..

I bg Bot to cap honor once or twice a day so maybe like 5 hours a day..so yeah

I SAY bot just dont OVER DO it..If you got suspended or banned your were boting way too much which is fine if your ok with parting with your account, Ive gotten Many accounts perma banned before with all this said i will also ad..

DO NOT BE AFRAID blizzard is more interested in profit these days i have a few gathering accounts who are on there 4th bann and a simple Im sorry/ it wasnt me i was hacked letter always gets them released..Back 5 years ago this was unheard of if you where banned you where BANNED..
 
I would personally lay low and do very little botting for a few weeks, then after that continue to do what I was doing before the ban.
 
thanks for the help, and now it says max sessions so i'm gonna go to buddyauth thanks! - i'm not gonna do it over night then, only when i'm here :)
 
now it's failing even more, it says max sessions but i killed the session, and it's still there, so i can't kill it, and before when it worked it said i used the wrong wow or something
 
you just have to be a little patient sometimes with HB. check to see if you are signed on, kill it. another step you can try is restart you computer. sometimes it gives me the authentication failed and i just wait then try to login again. patience little one! :D
 
ya k, now it says i have to run it 32 bit and not with the launcher, i didn't run it with the launcher and i don't have 32 bit :( what the fuck do i do

It was most likely a player report don't worry about it keep botting change ip say you got hacked.

Bot smart not 24/7 or you'll account will get slapped over the head with a ban hammer
