6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Several hours but at regular intervals while being monitored mostly

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 90ISH?

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? Like 2 years ago haha

10)EU or US realm? US

11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Paid



I botted while I fell asleep, woke up a few hours later (Keep in mind the bot quit like an hour after I fell asleep) and found out I was banned.

I was able to talk myself out of the ban into a 72 Hour Suspension. I must say though, Blizzard's GMs are complete dicks and not respectful at all. They will certainly be receiving a phone call from me soon to dispute it further. But I imagine that I will be tracked now. What is the best way to prevent myself from being caught in the future now that I am on their list?

How were they being disrespectful? Just curious. Personally, I would not try to further dispute the suspension - that just may push your luck; take some time off and think about
how to prevent this in the future. The most obvious answer to prevent yourself from being caught is to not use it at all (see: best birth control is not to have sex at all). . . but it
is somewhat difficult to figure out how to prevent being caught again. I was recently banned and I have not used HB/GB2 to the point of looking like a bot. I've learned my lesson and
I do not plan on using the bot again, besides using it for the Combat Routines.

It makes me nervous seeing others not using the bot much at all and still getting caught. Knowing that they keep a flag on your account to monitor you closely (or track) makes me
even more paranoid that they'll catch me using it just for CRs and I will lose my main account forever.

TL;DR Best way to prevent being caught is to stop botting altogether. Realistically, we're botters so we will most likely keep using it - just don't use it as much and monitor it more often.
