Potion of Prolonged Power - Spell - World of Warcraft

It costs 1 blood for 10 of those. Old potions are still better, but poor raiding guilds will be using those mostly. This combined with BoS herbs = RIP herb gathering? What do you think?
Also as a result of flasks/potions price dropping people won't need as much gold as before = less gold demand = low gold prices
in the end it's
low herb prices = low flask/potions prices = low gold prices
Gonna cut down our $ profits by like /4 at least. Mark my words

But its just a combat potion, not a flask. And also it is a bad combat potion. So, calm down. Prices on herbs for sure will go down, because this madness with gold-printing ~10-15k/hour should stop somewhere.

Let us pray so! I'll be fine with 5k/hour.

Damn I must be doing something wrong because I've never pulled 10-15k/hour herbing. I've done the math and only ever pulled like 8-9k. Even at this pace, it's not bad money so I'd be okay with even 5-6k

Its not even gonna hit that bad. It will drop hard on Wednesday. but after 1-2 Weeks it will even out. i predict around a 20% loss in value. for starlight roses atleast.

Thats probably because you farmed in areas on routes where everyone else farms.

7.1 will only affect prices temporarily.
In the long run it will not accelerate the value decline.

I used to make like 40-60k a day only farming for 3 hours and then just listing stuff throughout the day

so idk I don't figure my losses will be that bad lol

So 7.1 hits tomorrow.

I've already seen Starlight drop to 80each on AH. everything else has also hit bottom.

Reports from other servers?

Blizz already said that if 7.1 does not bring a significant long-term drop to ore/herb/potion prices, they have other systems in place to combat the high prices...

Either way, blizz is going to tank the price of mats.

You have a link to where Blizzard said this ?

Exactly.. What most people don't seem to realize is that the only people with hundreds of BoS are the people botting herbs and having them drop. As well, as more raids and dungeons come out, more Flasks and potions will be used, meaning the supply will only deplete quicker. I wouldn't even worry about BoSs being made into Roses, as it takes a few BoS>Roses to make a single flask. The BoS into Fox Flower is much more profitable in most cases.

On top of this, obliterum prices are going to go up, as people will have fewer BoSs to dedicated to obliterum crafting, and BoS will be worth more gold.

If anything, I would imagine the herb/alchemist are going to farm the shit out of starlight and then use the bloods for the other mats. I personally think all the herbs should be 3 or 4 instead of 10. But then again, I think Blizzard is jumping the gun entirely on alchemy too. Once you hit rank 3, you would proc anywhere from 3 to 20 additional flasks. This blood vendor is just silly.

Pretty much. Bought up the Felwort from the cheaper market, used my BoS to make Alchy trinkets, and sold the Obliterum for 50% more than it was going for before on my server, netting a ~1-1.5k profit on each. Everyone upgrading their BoEs for iLvl boosts. Made a small fortune so far with no obliterum price drops yet.
