Whats with these new 6m temp bans?

i think they was planning to get tons of ppl i mean everyone on HB and other hacks/bots, if they perma banned everyone they would lose tons of money, some would come back most would not

they are there to make money

they would happy perm ban gold farming bots coz they know they would make new acccounts and that means more money but ppls main accounts are different

It's an interesting theory, but I know I at least won't return if I can't get the ban reduced.

Suits me fine just means more time to do other stuff and less money wasted. Shame I couldn't give away the few million gold before quitting, but no biggie.

I don't see what the difference is really, 6 month ban might as well be a permaban. Who is going to come back in 6 months? (not many)

Maybe it's for legal reasons, for example if you have prepaid game time, this way they don't have to refund you if you paid many months in advance?

There was a change to ToS in 6.1.2, maybe it is related to the bans?

playing with the numbers, i'm assuming it has something to do with stats that are offered to shareholders to show that the numbers are holding steady.
