65 to 85 in 3 days thanks to AV Call to Arms weekend

I love Call to Arms Weekend, especially when it's Alterac Valley.

This week, I managed to take one of my toons from 65 to 85 in 3 days flat doing 24 hour a day botting in "PvP" mode (using w00t's awesome PvP profiles) in AV during the double exp Call to Arms weekend. No RAF, and no rested exp. I also had both chest and shoulder +10% exp heirlooms on to speed it up even further. Furthermore, I kept hitting the honor cap (4000) that I had to waste a bunch of it on PvP mounts.

I'm so mad that we can't buy the lvl 85 pvp gear unless we are 85

Also I hate that damn honor cap. What I have been doing though is trading for Justice Points and buying BoA items for future use.

A quick question for you: How did you manage the gear issue? I have a lvl 71 DK and this weekend is CTA for AV in my Server. I'm planning on doing something just like you did... But i'm affraid that after a couple of levels the gear will become obsolete... And the poor DK won't be able to kill anything. How did you solve this problem? Did you remain all the way to 85 in your lvl 65 gear, or did you buy something with honorpoints in the middle?

Hm playing AV atm, but only getting like 2 bars from a win :S

That's kinda low for what i've heard. I have 4 heirlooms and guild perks, 60%+ XP taking everything in consideration. But at that rate i will (luckily) gain 5 levels top... 2 bars = 10%, so it would take 10 BG, to gain a single level... Since AV average completion time is between 20 and 30 min, (plus the queue time), i estimate that i would take about 7 hours to gain just one level... Something must be wrong. What realm are you playing? Do you have heirlooms? Do you have guild perks? Do you have rested XP?

Buy the level 70 PvP armor.

And how did you manage to do 65 to 85 in CTA AV? It just started today?
