The 6 months ban that thousands of us had is about to expire tomorrow. On b.net site still says account banned. Are u guys gonna keep botting if account gets active again.??

13th for me so thats a few days to go. Also I never stopped botting lol i just bought more accounts and kept going.

most have it expired on 13th.
Neven stopped, was up and running 20 min after ban.

Ill keep it as a spare account to fall back on if blizzard hits us with another on.
And they probably will soon.

Saw a blue post yesterday on pvp forums, first one in months and months.
The QQ is rising again, just as it was on the latest one. And then blizz hit us.

They will hit us again.

oh damn I checked again the ban time was 14/05/2015 5:35 AM,,, so 8 more days to go, a lot of people are saying it's perm ban as it says 'account has be ban' on website as well as b.net desktop app..... nobody knows

you have to check the email that you got from blizz yes some peoples bans were permabans and some were 6 month suspensions but since they have never done a 6 month suspension until this ban wave it was always a 72 hour warning or a permaban they just got lazy and did not update bnet to reflect a 6 month suspension my bnet says banned but the email that i got from blizz said 6 months that my account would be playable again on nov 13th and have checked with blizz to verify it because i was concerned that it said banned

but to echo webhond there is a lot of QQ going on already both on the forums and in game chat everyone knows that we are all getting our accounts back on the 13th and they are already crying "the bots are coming, the bots are coming" lol its funny as a lot of us never stopped i had a new account on a new bnet the same day and was playing by hand for the time that the bot was down but running strong 12 hours a day since it was back up all this ban wave did was make the people that could not afford to lose there account give up botting and the long time botters that got a little lazy with there botting habits stop and bot a little smarter

I got banned some time before the banwave, and now im banned again, so my advice is no, dont bot unless it's your secondary acc or you dont care about losing it

Did you bot straight away? what bot did you use and how long since you got unbanned?

did you also have the 6 month ban?

I think PvP is main place where bots get caught and causing grief to people, why can't we just simply stay away from BGs? It's like going to a mine field, got your legs blown off and for some reason keep coming back? It seems simple enough, just stay away from BGs.

This will reduce the QQ, the heat that Blizz takes and then less heat to us. The only reason why Blizz is taking action because a lot of normal player complain about it, they couldn't care less if you guys are botting as long as other customers are not complaining about it, it's money to them after all. I don't understand why the need to keep drawing attention to yourself.

The problem with this is Blizz knows for us botters to get geared up we have to do BGs so we get the ilvl req for LFR then we can sit back and farm LFR the rest of the time.

Baleful gear from Tanaan starts from ilvl 650, that's enough to get you to LFR and I think farming Baleful gear doesn't take that long.

Blizzard has always cared but there is a % where they need bots and dont need bots :) Mass banwaves will give them even more money. Since people are going the buy the whole game again and bot again, history repeats itself. Its just a matter of when. I would say blizzard has a very close eye on HB now no other reason why they would only do 6 month banwave. Making their loyal customers more angry that it was not perm, so they have something coming up.

i have never once run bg's for gear to get into LFR there is some much more that you can do to get gear so that you can get into LFR. botting in BG's and arena are the biggest things that the community QQ's about all the time. yes people they cry about the bots farming but no where near as many as the people crying about the bg bots

I never did PVP and got banend in the 6 month banwave. Still I will not go back to this game after what they did to me. They stole my money for subsciption (2 months). So they can suck my di... :)

Its no Permanent ban.

Yesterday i logged into my WoW Account on the Battle.net Website. After 5 Month........
I saw there * This World of Warcraft account has been permanently closed and is no longer available for use *.

I wrote yesterday than a Ticket on the Battle.net page. After few hours i got a reply.

They told me thats just a normaly Message on the Web page if a Account got a ban (for days or Months or Permantyl).
And the Account will re open on the 13.11 within to the 14.11 @ 0:00 am.

There are waaaay easier ways than botting BGs to get your ilvl up. Atleast there used to be before banwave. Ashran not viable anymore? Took me ~1 hour to get full honor gear from Ashran by just running around taking the treasures that everyone ignores, turning in the emblems for honor and profit. Way way better than botting BGs for 2-3 days straight.

Banned for 6 months, returning on the 16th.

I made a new Battle.net account, played a little by hand (for a few weeks) then botted it casually.

Transferred the main Character(s) to my old Battle.net account (I couldn't merge the battle.net accounts, long story[!]) but I was happy to have the Mains on old Battle.net.

Have been botting since on old Battle.net and await my 'old' Main account to reactivate this 16th!

But yes I have been safely botting since the ban.

** When I do return on the 16th, with my two accounts active on the Battle.net I do not plan on botting for a while! I will probably retire / quit wow for a while as I expect these banned accounts to be monitored / flagged for a while. Personal opinion! Safer to play HotS / Diablo III / take a break !! **

I have NO IDEA why everyone keeps saying its just BGs that get you banned WRONG! I was in a raid group with guild and I was banned then, not from BGs.. just from a simple combat bot. SO yeah its not ALWAYS BGs.
