6 month ban turned into a perm one after 4 months

back in may when blizz had the huge ban wave my account was banned for 6 months. i went to go check on it to see if i can find any updates on how much longer and come to find out my account is perm banned. has anyone else had this happen to them ?

I contacted Blizz and was told mine will be back up in November, was wondering due to the BANNED notification on my account haha, could try that?

if you logged into the game did urs say its no longer active? i am almost positive it said something else but who knows. i put a ticket in mainly die to the fact i am not able to reply on forums for any blizz games all b.c i am banned from wow which makes no since at all.... wanted to post something on forums for diablo and it would not let me

There is no special notification based on suspensions, 72 hour 3 months 6 months will get the same. This account has been closed and is no longer available the email you received gave you a date when it will be playable again if you were hit in the group that same day it should be Nov 13th. Check your email that the account is registered to, perhaps your junk folder.

Hmm, i would put a ticket in, I can still log in to my battle.net account and view all my toons on the armory that are on the said account too.... In saying this i do have a second account that i didn't use until recently on the same battle.net login so maybe that helps??

well i got a hold of someone and it is still the 6 months. but that still does not make since why i cant post in other game forums. they said that was intended be developers. so basicaly i can play diablo but can post on diablo forums haha

they have no issue with me buying virtual tickets but i can not comment on the blizzcon site also XD

I'm afraid WoW3 will need to remain closed - it too was advanced using unauthorized third party automation software.

When your WoW2's suspension is over, you're welcome to return to playing it, but WoW3 will remain closed.

This was discussed 10+ times already here:

Blizzard's penalty therms dictionary:

- Suspension = account closed for 3h to 14 days.

- Ban = account closed from 14 days to permanent.

Their web systems are tuned to show any penalty, according to the above therms.

For reference - check the forum here for the "test" batch of few hundred users, which got banned for 6 months on 23-24 march 2015.

They started to report yesterday, that their accounts are getting active.

Is this what you guys get? It says "permanently" on my account but according to the email I got the day my account was banned I should be unbanned next month.
Kind of misleading IMO.

Yep it says the same in my Account too but i am not worried about it, im pretty sure that our Accounts will be unbanned on November 13th, maybe even earlier already, i think someone in this thread said that some Peoples account got reactivated already ( sorry if i missunderstood )

But even when Blizz really bans my account forever, i dont care , after 6 month without WoW it dont matters anymore, atleast not to me ^^
I cant deny that if it works i will atleast check it out, all the new changes since the last big patch but oh well, we will see Friday the 13th! I wont bot on that day

I got the same thing today when I checked my account. I guess it doesn't really matter since I have leveled another 10 or so to level 100. But they sure need to revise their wording and communication.

they actually gave me a backup account with hopefully still 800 k on it
