6 month ban is actually permanent (check)

hey guys i got hit with the big ban aswell. been botting on and off over the years and only got a ban 2 years ago in mop for questing (which I appealed and won) and recently last week when I kind of didnt care anymore and dungeonbuddy/quest buddy all night long which got me a 72 hour ban and a failed appeal. Blizzard told me they had evidence I was using a bot (must of been questing at the time)

Then today I got an email like everyone else saying 6 months ban and account will be reactivated on November 13th. At first I was pretty pissed off but then realized I dont know if i could even be bothered to play anymore without a bot.

I went to log in just to see what it says and my account has actually been closed, on the battle.net app where it'll normally have how much game time you have left (just to the right of "play") when I was banned last week it told me when my account would be available again but this time its just "cancel sign"

So you might want to check if you do have a full closed account despite what the email says

Could just be because the ban is longer than your subscription length. Who knows?

there is that but if you open wow and try to log in it tells you there aswell that the account has been closed, error #202

it's 6 months. exactly like it says in the email.

they just don't have a category for it in the launcher / wow account page. the whole 6 month ban thing is brand new.

the same thing happened when i got a 3 month hearthstone suspension. it said closed / banned, but after 3 months all that disappeared
