We're aware of a large number of bans that just went out affecting Exilebuddy. Since the last patch was about a week ago, and the fact we're pretty familiar with how the client works due to our large API for it, it's safe to say it was a new server sided bot detection system responsible.

Users are encouraged to post full logs of their bot runs for banned accounts in the Ban Reports section so we can get an idea of what everyone was using when they got banned. Please also include if you've done any recent RMT (as of this 3.3 league) as well.

Other than that, there's no additional information we can provide at this time, so please wait patiently for another statement once we have had time to look into the issue and are able to discuss our options moving forward.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, but events like this are a part of botting, so hopefully we'll be able to get through it. Thank you for your understanding!

EDIT: Offsets for the current version have been temporarily removed, so people waking up today will check forums when their bot doesn't auth.

An updated version of Exilebuddy for the current game client, 3.3.1.2, is about to be deployed. This patch had only a few minor client changes that affected the API, but everything should still work the same as before. If you notice something broke, please report it in the Support forum as you would after any regular patch and it will be looked into.

Included in this version are some regular minor performance updates for a few things we noticed when reviewing code, but most users should not notice a difference. These are are simple things where caching wasn't being used where it could have been, and the order of code being called could be improved. There are no negative side effects possible, but given the downtime and banwave, people might not understand why these things are in the patch notes now, so I'm mentioning why: they are just regular updates we do when we come across them.

Bossland has requested that Exilebuddy go live again, with the warning that the current version carries the same risk as it did on the day of the banwave.

Additional details and statements about the banwave and Exilebuddy are still being worked on, and will most likely come around or after this weekend. We are sorry for the continued delays, but it could not be avoided, there's a lot for us to work through. We know a lot of people are still waiting to hear something, but unfortunately, you'll still need to wait a bit longer.

Dear buddies, there's no need to request key time to be paused from Support.

The downtime extension was given out simply for people who still wanted to bot when things are unsafe, and might have had their key expired during the downtime, that's it.

It was not "downtime compensation" for the banwave, because as I mentioned in the previous post, the current live version was requested by Bossland, and carries the same exact risk from the day of the banwave.

The following still holds true, so please continue to be patient until there is new news about things!

An update for tonight's 3.3.1b patch is being delayed, and will not be deployed tonight. This is due to things on our side, and not related to new game changes. There's quite a number of pending, breaking changes to EB in place right now that are besting tested, but they are not ready to be deployed yet.

While there is hardly anyone using the previous versions (there's still a very small amount of people using EB, but bans should be expected at any time really), and everyone is still waiting for news from almost 2 weeks ago, that build was only meant as a temporary thing as news of our future plans was taking longer than expected.

That news is taking quite a lot longer than expected, so I really hope we can get things resolved in the next few days on that front. I wish I had different news for everyone, but right now we have to continue being patient.
