5 bots banned all in one go.

I started 4 fresh accounts on Friday 14th of June and 1 SoR account. All banned today, the fresh ones got to around level 50 each. I called Blizz about one and was told that a GM has 'done some tests' on my character and I had 'met one or more of their criteria of being a bot'. Tickets got a generic cut and paste response so I have sent pleas to CS feedback for all of them. They're all on the same IP so I'm assuming this may have had an impact and 3 were running from the same computer.

No one is gonna be able to help you when you dont fill these ban forms out.
It doesnt help us understand WHY you got banned when you dont...

Were you GB2? BG Buddy? Were you farming???? Seriously??

When a GM says "we did some tests to see if you were a bot" this tells me you were not supervising, and you either got flagged by server script or player reports and a GM physically/visually inspected you. Which means that you prob wont get your account back.

I could pretty much fill the form in my head by just reading what she/he typed. What's the hassle about filling the form, all the info is there.

Buzz I can't be arsed with people like you just piss off.

The bots were banned after questing the whole time, never gathering and they were 90% monitored, and as always the profile used for levelling was kicks.

Filling out the form is just anal there isn't any special info missing here its simple.

That's weird, i have almost ran 24/7 so far on kick's questing, and i haven't recieved any suspicious whispers, contacts or mails... nor been banned, yet. i have 2 running atm...

hmm, what kind of plugins, classes did you use? could the bots have been bugged in a tree, or ran behind something it couldn't get above?

and mine's 79, 85..

Blizz put the whole game on sale for $30 again. Not surprising they are coming down hard on botters again. They trying the same ole stunt. Ban everyone, then some of them buy new accts cause of the sale.

Plugins - only the ones that come on the bot, the classes were all druids and they were watched 90% of the time so I can say with confidence they weren't bugged.

Yeah I'm assuming there's more to the story than the OP is telling us. I've leveled countless characters to 90 with kick's and have been using GB2 for 4 weeks now for 12+ hours a day and I've had no issues. I don't waste time/money with a V P N and virtualization.
