So got banned today 5/5 that actually bot Dungeons for gold. My mule is still active and on the same BN account as one that was banned which is interesting. My main that i play is fine and has never been botted on. It does receive gold though. Funny part is i was not selling gold so going to try and appeal, made sure to transfer gold in weird amounts and not in multi of 10,000. Email that i got is as follows : (its a perma Ban)
Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy
This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.
Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.
We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously.
1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Dungeonbuddy on 5 - happened today around the time of the patch.
2)Which version (and Beta or Release)?:Release
3)If so, when was the last time?: not to sure when it happened because i was at work just know it was running before i left for the day.
4)What profile were you using?: Non- standard dungeonbuddy (Random MoP HC)
5)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Mainly singular
6)What plugins are you using?:none
7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: it was random but i do leave them for 10+ hours sometimes.
8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 10% or less
9)How many auctions per day did you have?: None
10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? no
11)Was your account involved in gold selling? No gold was ever sold.. just used for personal reasons.
12)EU or US realm? US
13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Paid accounts but was still on the 30 days free subscription which ironically expired tomorrow =)
14)How old was the account? It was only 28 days old.
