I would like to advice you to be careful with guild banks too

Me and a friend had some guild banks in common and Blizzard has banned all the accounts that have toons on the banks even frozen accounts (without game time since october more or less) , even if the account has done nothing involved in gold selling or botting

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Honorbuddy in one of them and both in the other account

2)Which version (and Beta or Release)?: Always the latest

3)If so, when was the last time?: 10/01/2015 3 a.m

4)What profile were you using?: Questing with kick 1- 100 and GB2 in uldum.

5)What combat class were you using? Warlock and mage singular

6)What plugins are you using?: Anti-drown

7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Around 10-14h per day switching toons and profiles every 1-2h

8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 65%

9)How many auctions per day did you have?: 300 - 400 with 2/5 accounts (the two where we used the bot)

10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No.

11)Was your account involved in gold selling? Yes.

12)EU or US realm? EU

13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? All paid accounts.

I'm trying to recover one account that was no use for gold exchange or botting but it had all the gm from guilds so I think that it will be imposible xD It is the risk that we take

Same here banned a bunch of accounts of mine , even those that never saw any currency, just were officer in guild.

I have just know that a friend of mine that has only a toon in one of the banks has been banned too with permaban xD and he didn't did anything illegal I'm sure of it, just be in the wrong place.
Fortunately, he doesn't want that account anymore because he now plays in another region but wtf? Is Blizzard getting paranoic?

Are there safer ways to transfer BoE and/or gold between bot and non-bot accounts? What about having both toons both on and open a "trade window" and trade that way?


It seemed at first Guild Banks were the way to go but this is scary now if they even ban an account that hasn't botted or profited from the bot accounts (haven't withdrawn any gold or items that the bot account deposited based on the above post and got banned anyway just for being the guild master)

you do know that transferring gold via guild banks became popular precisely because trading via trade window started to be watched very carefully? to this day they watch face-to-face gold trades very carefully, and even have auto bans if you meet certain criteria. bottom line there is no safe way to transfer except in small amounts maybe. try to xfer gold in large amounts all at once, no matter how you do it, and you will almost certainly be banned.

Ok what about trading window to trade high value items, so instead of trading gold, trade the item that will sell for 20k gold so the main can sell it? Is that any safer?
