First I was leveling my 4 new SOR acc bots with Arch/BG, and they all got locked at the same time (around 8-9 days in of leveling) because of difference between SOR and Bnet names. Coincidentally enough, this happened only after I switched from pure Arch to Mixed Mode arch/bg. Bit of a shame too - all had MOP and fresh GTCs added to them.
Suspension was a bit trickier.. Got a whisper from a GM saying that I was reported - was afk at the time, but the GM chat window couldn't have been up for longer than 5 minutes.
Had a talk with him, he told me I was reported because I was running into a wall for a while. I bullshitted him with one of the same excuses all botters use - one hand playing while eating/was on ventrillo/clicked to move and went afk/wireless keyboard or mouse out of battery/lag/disconnect/little brother playing/Russian EMP/etc. He said he'd refer me to their tech support. I gathered by hand for a bit, and hearthstoned. While being in the capital I got DC, tried relogging, and whooptidoo - a 72er. After ~50 days of 24/7 gathering. And gold selling.
I obviously won't appeal the 72h ban - I can't risk further investigation (have my gold selling guild lvl1 GM alt on that account, don't want anyone looking into daily 6-digit withdrawals by lvl1 chinese robots), and is also a SOR account with mismatching names.
Regardless, gonna continue botting with remaining accounts while that one is on time out. And time to find another quartet to replace the ones I lost to the ID check
