*Notice of Account Closure***

Account Name: xxxx

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Battle.net Support

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please submit a Customer Support Ticket via Battle.net: https://us.battle.net/support/ticket/submit. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. If you are unable to access your account due to the password being changed, please visit our Login Support site here: https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html

Going to play the "I haven't played for so long why is my account now banned?" story. One of the accounts already had a 72h suspension before, but I'm hoping on getting the other 3 back :/

The account that had the 72h suspension before and now got a ban was recovered, going to try the other ones now.

For the ones that are more distraction, here's what you should learn from this topic:

Never EVER , not even once, let your bots run for more than 11 - 12 hours a day, even with breaks, I did it for one day and it triggered something, 4 accounts on two different realms.

I think that You just got reported and they banned everything on same IP, standard procedure lately.

I had an account banned for gold selling recently (never sold gold, but w/e). Tried to appeal it -- no luck. They said "you violated the TOS." That was the only info I could get beyond that.

My other two accounts that I play on a regular basis (I bot on one of them) were uneffected, though. So I don't know.

I agree with that he probably got reported, I do not believe that Blizz just blindly bans by IP. Having said that, if they investigated and found one botting toon, they may have checked out any account using that IP.

Well i think that they just ban blindly all accounts on same ip/hardware ID as caught bot lately, because when someone is caught with multiple accounts, all are permanently banned with same copy paste message about gold selling, and only after appeal, which i guess forces them to make deeper research, they are changing it to suspension for botting.

Eisenberg, the reason wasn't gold selling (the one from the e-mail), was hacks and stuff.

Got 3 of the accounts back, one of them they denied at the first appeal stating it wasn't hacked, but then I tried to login with a different country IP to force account lock and wrote a ticket about not playing for almost a week and that they couldn't ban me for inactivity as there would be the only reason since they said it wasn't hacked, bla bla bla, this MUST be a mistake.

Going to appeal the last one tonight.
