So I had 4 of my botting accounts go down all at once Monday evening within minutes of each other. All 4 are used 98% of the time with GB1 and all have been used on occasion with HB for leveling, rep grinding and so on. It has been a minimum of 2 months since any of them were used with HB.
Each one will bot until they have a full load and then log out and stay offline for at least 3 to 5 hours before going again (or whenever I feel like clearing out the bags and starting them up again so sometimes a bit longer).
All received a Closed Account notice for Abuse of the Economy late Monday evening. It has been a while since I lost an account so I did the email routine but received notice that Blizz will no longer reply to emails and that everything had to be done online. I then proceeded to send in a ticket for each account asking what is going on and can someone please help. I received password reset requests for 2 of the accounts within 10 hours and then an email right after that saying they were reversing the closed decision. I had placed a call on the 3rd account about an hour after the ban notice and was told it would be looked into and I would hear back within 24 hours. Received notice the decision had been reversed and no password change necessary. The 4th account took a bit longer. I had to call up and play the dumb computer guy, ?don?t know what?s happening? and such, and the very helpful guy on the other end got the account back up and running within 10 minutes, no password change required.
I am going to give it a few days before I start up again, more to help me clear out some of my built up stock than anything. Then I will start back as per usual. Only one of the accounts had any auctions running ever and none of the accounts ever traded or sold gold. I suppose the toons are linked via guild bank so a thorough review would show them as linked and always farming but I have a few regular toons in these banks as well and no back lash with them at all. Just glad to have gotten all the accounts back.
